"She'll have seen it though. She'll likely mark it as a weakness and try the same again, with a second trap under the first. We'll have to watch for it.

Unfortunately, I'll have to say I found my preparation lacking. This was the first real confrontation with her forces for me. I'll need to revise what spells I prepare.

Emily and Dolmaya have the firepower covered. I'll need to supplement them with area control, I think. In this case, terrain control, alteration, and light. Opinions?"

"Then improve," Jarem says, "It's the best and easiest answer. Strive to be more and use your mind doing it."

"Sleep on it," Jarem admits, "See how it all makes sense when I'm not tired and busy."

"Yes. I'm going to check in on my sister and parents, then get some rest."
