"I have many talents." Moore says. "But no, a titan's power is not one of them. The best I can do is to bring hope to those without it and to push people past their limits. My own ability to fight by myself is not great."

Xandra draws her blade, stepping in front of you. "Should you harm a hair on Moore's head, I will kill you." Her voice is calm throughout, not looking away from the elder titan.

A moment of tension, where nothing moves in the slightest. The air itself is dead still, the warmth from ab-

"Put away your toys and turn on your brains." A familiar, tired and downright grumpy voice. "Before one of you does something I'll have to clean up." His voice comes from everywhere and nowhere.

Brani grunts and steps back. "I've never met a trumpet archon that can challenge me. I was hoping she'd be the first."

"I wouldn't mind showing you what we can do." Moore says. "But in a friendly way."

He glances off to the side.

"I'm sorry for the trouble I'm causing you -- both of you." Moore says.

Anastasia

Brani stays quiet as the voice goes right on. "You went to the trouble and Brani didn't think to ignore you altogether."

"I try not to live my life like a reclusive asshole," Brani growls, "Try it sometime."

"Ignore them, what are the odds they'd have found you?" The voice goes right on.

"How is that sporting and what trouble would they get up to?" Brani says, "They're not bad, they used Medicant for a good cause." He looks to the side, "Would it have done them any good to chase at something they'd never find?"

"They're heroes. They make trouble by doing anything. The sort they are, they can end up fighting a dragon on the way to getting porridge for breakfast," The voice declares tiredly. "Then face down a 20 headed hydra when they go back for seconds."

"Takes one to know one," Brani says, rolling his eyes. "I still can't believe they managed to find a daemon druid who could take the form of oatmeal. I still also can't believe you noticed it instead of eating it. How did the daemon even GET access to those kitchens in the first place?"

"I think you both know we're a persistent bunch, so I would've likely found this somehow anyway." Moore says. "Besides, you're the one who kept coming and bothering me and being curmudgeony, what was I supposed to do, let it go?"

He clears his throat. "I don't expect that you'll explain what's going on, but it'd be nice. If you want, I'll trade you what you're doing here for how I figured out anathemic knowledge." A small smile creeps onto his face.

Anastasia

"I've taken steps recently to resolve that limitation," The voice says, "But I'll do it if you let Brani slink away with only one failure to his name today."

"You're like an old smilodon, grumpy and lashing out at anything," Brani counters right back, "Like an old cat."

"Yeah, but it sounds like you just cheated." Moore says.

He turns to Brani. "...This is kind of addicting, I see why you do it so often."

He clears his throat. "I can only give you my word that I won't speak of anything that's happened here. Whatever that's worth to you is up to you, but I did come with a purpose, besides just getting you to go back to Elena at least once."

Anastasia

"Fine, get on with what you want," The voice declares.

Brani merely looks amused at your comment.

"Yes, we should get to the point," Xandra agrees, "Rather than quarreling."

"I don't know how much of current events you're aware of, so forgive me if this repeats something you already know." Moore says, as he clears his throat.

"The bearer of 21 -- which, if I need to explain, I can -- Sylvie, is currently missing. I do not know where exactly she is, but I have a few ideas." He begins, as he holds up the papers he has. "She imparted knowledge to her son, which seems to have resulted in him being able to come up with the basis of some sort of arcane diagram that I have reason to believe will open a portal, rift, gate... something of that nature, to where she is. I have a little under half of the total pieces of this puzzle, and I was hoping you might be able to fill in some of the gaps."

Anastasia

"So you want me to solve this for you," The voice says, to the point.

"Considering how many different places I've been to find different parts that make up this puzzle, I'd be surprised if even you could just solve it in one look." Moore says. "I wasn't expecting it to be solved when I found you, but if you're able to, then I would see no reason to not be willing to accept that sort of assistance."

Anastasia

"Everyone has talents," The voice goes on, "Mine is being able to do what shouldn't be able to be done, if you haven't paid attention." A sheaf of papers appear, "Here, that should help."

Moore takes the papers.

"Thank you. I have another favor I'd like to ask of you -- I don't understand your current situation and perhaps don't need to, but I'd like to do a favor for Elena." Moore says. "Is there any way to help her remember all the anathemic knowledge you built up in Aurora? Or, if there's no way to do that, I'd like to at least bring her back something since it seems like you're not going to be able to visit her anytime soon."

Anastasia

"It's not done," The voice says, as a clear glass cube the size of Hanna's fist or so plops to the ground. "I'm sure you can figure it out if you put the time and sweat into it. She'll understand when she sees it."

"All right." Moore says. "Well, I'm sure you know where to find me if there's ever anything I can do for you."

A smile follows that as he turns to the elder titan. "Brani, if you'd like to challenge my group, you can find us at Hope's Landing in Lunia any time you'd like."

He turns back to address the voice. "I know you're limited in what you can do, but you have an open invitation there as well. I'm at your disposal."

Moore will bend down to pick up the cube.
