[Iron Dragoon]

"Let's enjoy it then."

[Anastasia]

Amid gentle laughter the meal passes and Emily goes off. She isn't long to return, "I have a few sources," she announces.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Go on."

[Anastasia]

"Well, the first a dragon from Aurora - Surraruthru. He developed a spell that works, he used it on hydras," Emily explains.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hydras? He certainly threw caution to the wind. Then again, I guess it wouldn't be hard to establish dominance with that level of magic. Still... An interesting idea... Regenerating heavy hitters."

[Anastasia]

"Actually," Emily claps her hands together, "Did you know that hydras aren't true regenerators, not like a troll? Rather, they heal fast like Ianvasah can, and have additional, special properties to grow more heads."

[Iron Dragoon]

It can be assumed that even with a roll of 1, Alyssa has enough ranks in the appropriate Knowledge skill to know this. That being said:

"Quite so, but for the sake of normal conversation, the concept is the same. Excellent way to be technically correct, though. It's the best kind of correct."

[Anastasia]

Sure, that's fine.

Emily smiles momentarily before, "I asked Auntie Elle about it, she said she could create such a spell if she needed to - and pointed out I could, too. With a few notes and pointers it wouldn't even be that hard."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hmm... I'd still like to collaborate with someone who's used such a spell. There's likely to be things in the after, dealing with and guiding, the newly awakened that I might not think of."

[Anastasia]

"Yes. It's still a risk," Emily says, "Shocker lizards have a poor reputation, Alyssa."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa waives her hand, "Yes, yes, everyone keeps telling me how horrifying they are. I'm just going to have them horrify our enemies for us. Can you arrange a meeting with Surraruthru?"

[Anastasia]

"Alright," Emily says, "Kascha knows him, I asked her and she'll set it up."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "Thank you. Now, for the other big thing. Ianvasah's asked me to go on a mission with her. We'll have to rely on Chakrams and I won't be able to use spells. Which means... I want suggestions on how to improve our gear to cover this gap. Jarem, Bastian, you're both probably the most experienced we have in regards to those sort of things. Emily, I'm sure you've seen things in your mother's court. Let's get ourselves the best chance we can."

[Anastasia]

A moment, "You can't use your spells at all?" Emily frowns, "Really?"

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa looks to Ianvasah for the answer.
