Sheer, desperate panic drives all of you to flee, to run back and out of the way. It's the right choice - for the great beast lands with a tremendous thump as you scurry over the remnants of the shrine. The beast lands and begins to roll forward, tumbling down and towards the party.

"Stop it! We can't dodge," Kascha warns as she flees, when...

Xandra is going to try her Music of the Outer Spheres technique to see if it's able to do something to this creature.

Unless her intuition says that wouldn't work. But she'll try otherwise!

The creature...stops. Already bound, Xandra's song is unlike anything you've heard. There are no words, only sound that stops the creature as surely as a steel wall. It stops, shrinks. Many heads become one, many limbs become four. As she sings Xandra steps forward, coming to the creature and taking it into her arms. It is a black dragon wyrmling - a creature type Seira knows well.

"Become whole to Creation," she sings, the first words you understand. "The light of Chronias grants you mercy."

"Nicely done," Seira congratulates Xandra. "Amaryl, Kascha, can you try forming something with that same power? Perhaps an arrow or a melee weapon, instead of a chain?"

[Nephrite]

Moore nods to Xandra, as if he finally understands something.

[Anastasia]

"Thank you, but I...I didn't know I could do that until I did it," Xandra admits, "Not like that." She holds the black dragon in her arms, "It was also the easiest, most natural thing I've done in my life."

[Anastasia]

As Amaryl does so - an arrow of the stuff created - the back ruins of the shrine crumble down and away. A stairway going up the side of the mountain is revealed.

[Corwin]

Seira nods at her wife. "We're here to train using this stuff, so let's focus on that over the conventional means. Kascha, your turn!"

"Yes, absolutely. This is why we practice." Seira peers over at Ranbar. "Not with divine power, but maybe you could try focusing your will as well? Anarchs might have similar abilities, and we never did test you for that."

[Nephrite]

"Oh, that may be why it's a bit easier for me to do it." Moore says.
