Each strike makes you chill and numb, each strike hitting and tearing, yet it is like momentary ripples. You may have harmed it, but if so, it's not showing it it any meaningful way.

No, check that. It seems slower after all of that, your excellent sight and training allowing you to notice that. Not that you have time to capitalize as...
