The trees are odd, you notice right away. They're entirely silver, bark, leaves, needles and all. Like they're frosted in pure silver rather than merely having a silver coloration.

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa wanders over to one to get a closer look, making notes of it in the journal.

[Anastasia]

It's a tree of silver. IT has a metallic glint as you get closer - rather like shiny silver, and it even seems to have its own radiance.

"Don't touch," Gul warns, "Look, study but do not touch. The moonlight mithral here is not for your hands."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa looks at him and blinks.

"But... I'm a blacksmith. All metal is for my hands."

[Anastasia]

"Not this, not here," Gul warns, "Let it grow in peace."

"...grow?" Ianvasah frowns, "What nonsense is that?"

"It's not nonsense, woman. It grows here on these trees - one place and way of many. The Lady Phoebe watches over the Moon. Those who cannot mind their manners nor master their greed will find these grounds an eternal resting place."

[Iron Dragoon]

"I mean, I wasn't going to take any, but I want to know it's properties. How does it grow? Does it come from the bark turning into it from a reaction to the moonlight?"

[Anastasia]

"I don't know. I'm a lizard, not a mage," Gul says shortly.

[Iron Dragoon]

"You'll have to introduce me to Lady Phoebe, then."

[Anastasia]

"More like she'll introduce herself if she wants to meet you," Gul says, "She travels at her own pace with those sisters of hers."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa produces her smithing hammer from her pack and waves it threateningly at the tree while grinning.

"Fine then, let's keep going. I'll have to find a way to research this later."

[Anastasia]

Do you make contact with the tree?

[Iron Dragoon]

Nah. Just messing around.

[Anastasia]

"Idiot sow," Gul mutters in a variant of goblin before, "Do as you will, it's your funeral." he finally says, moving on faster now.

[Iron Dragoon]

"But I wonder how it would reflect on the one who guided us here and failed to stop it?" Alyssa sing-songs as she follows along.

[Anastasia]

"Be silent," Gul says shortly again, "Do not disrespect Selune on the moon! Show the proper respect!"
