"Ah... yes, I suppose that's the challenge." Moore says.  "I wonder if it's a race to the top?"

Anastasia

"Knowledge, as dust on the wind," Cresiel murmurs, moving ahead. Kaja joins him in running up, while Kascha lingers a moment.

"Or that knowledge is meaningless before the Far Realm?" she ventures.

<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Corwin

"I don't think there's a deeper meaning. So don't linger!"

"You can interpret this place in a variety of different ways." Moore says as he continues up. "I see no reason to stop on any of the floors, save for maybe the last one."

Anastasia

Just straight hustling then, y'all?

The white begins to spread and follow, but you pick up some ground on it. Atop the library, amid all the many books, sits a bookshelf in the center, free standing. But one book sits here, radiant with the light of 21, like a cold whip across Seira. It is familiar to Moore, it is the book Sylvie wielded with 21.

"Huh... why is her old book here?" He asks as he flies over to investigate it.

Blah blah check for traps and magic and whatnot, Spellcraft for 121 and Knowledge for 126.

Corwin

As Moore rises to his challenge, Seira attempts to adjust reality in a way to shield her against 21's light. Even if she can't replicate it in Creation, perhaps here it could be diverted a bit?

No sense for a roll here.

Seira finds it does no good - 21's light is relentless.

Kascha droops before while Amaryl shivers, "Dreadful," she murmurs, "They made such a fearsome thing."

Meanwhile, Moore sees no traps around it, nor any magic. Only the light of 21 and the book are ahead.

"Kascha, you'd seen 21 before you ascended, right?" Moore calls out as he goes to lift the book up. "It's interesting how you all have such a reaction to it because of your divine natures."

Anastasia

"You don't understand how bad it is for us," Kascha says, "I never saw 21 like this until I did ascend."

"No, I really don't, and I'm not sure anyone can until they do. It's just... curious, I suppose is the word. I mean, 21 can obliterate me just the same as you all, you know?" Moore says. He goes to open the book and see if there's anything particular in it. Was this a diary?

Should he even read it is if it is a diary?

Anastasia

Inside the book looks to be page to page, cover to cover, bits of a mathematical formula.
