After the words

[Anastasia]

"That'll help," Jarem says in consideration, "What's it called?"

"Alyssa?" Emily's voice, calling from below.

[Iron Dragoon]

"I'm not sure, I have to look into it."

Turning to Emily's voice, "Yes, Emily?"

[Anastasia]

Emily flies up to your window. "A visitor was found with an unholy symbol of Shar in his possessions."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa sighs, "Where is he and what was he doing?"

[Anastasia]

"He was selling common goods," Emily says, "He knocked over his pack and the contents spilled out in front of a pair of guards. One of them did well to recognize it and detain him."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa grunts, "Well, that's plebeian enough. I can't exactly abide going too far just for that, but... Do we have any strong clerics or paladins? Zone of truth would be useful. Also, I'm going to try to get a message to one of Selune's people. The only entrance other than Shaundakul's guidance is through the Gates of the Moon. I doubt she'll be too thrilled at the implication."

[Anastasia]

"We have some of Jarem's people on it," Emily says, then glances at Jarem.

"Good," Jarem says firmly, standing. "I'm going to go get a report."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "I'll offer a prayer to both Shaundakul and Selune about it and join you."

[Anastasia]

Plan here then, Alyssa?

[Iron Dragoon]

Couple quick prayers, then pull in Bastian for an interrogation. I can't honestly say I'm too keen on a full-on torture deal, unless something gets revealed that he did something or set something up, and if anyone from Selune turns up, I'll turn him over to them. If nothing happens either way, Emily can take him to Seira as a Shar prisoner, I suppose.

If it turns out that it's some wonky thing where the guy's innocent, we'll just put him under guard until he finishes his business and then out he goes.

[Anastasia]

By the time you get to Bastian, he gives you a look. "Better yet, see if the clerics have gotten to the bottom of it first," he says. "If they have, the rest of it doesn't matter."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Indeed, but you're also supposed to be our de-factor shadow hunter. If there's one here, there's more."

[Anastasia]

"If. Could be a fool," Bastian says, "I hope it's a fool. A fool we can thump and kick out."

[Iron Dragoon]

Alyssa nods, "I want you there. Clerics can do most of it, but there's also questions they won't think to ask that you will. Even if you aren't in the room, we can use telepathy to keep your involvement hidden."

[Anastasia]

With that and agreement, you go down. Jarem's outside, "He's in there. His story is that he plundered the unholy symbol on another plane and meant to sell it somewhere else. It's made of silver with black gemstones, so it's probably worth something." His expression is sour, "He's in there if you want to talk to him personally."
