"Please don't be mysterious, Antenora," Alicia asks as they navigate the interior. With the tower being open air are they exposed to that white rain? Is it bad for them?

The tower is open air from the inside - which means no real floors internally. Just walkways and stairways. It's not exposed to the rain outside.

"Sorry," Antenora apologizes as Seira casts. "My mind came to the duty I should bear, should we all fail but I survive the end. I dread it, but I continue to prepare, should that dark day come to pass."

"We all work hard to ensure it won't come to that," Alicia comforts Antenora, ascending via stairs rather than simply flying, just to get use out of the place that's been built for their benefit.

Corwin

"How about we just kill Shar and save everything?" Seira agrees with Alicia, projecting natural cheer.

This makes Antenora smile, "Of course, but better to be prepared than not."

"I do-" Syala says, then turns sharply to a window. "There."

Just ahead a window suddenly cracks, a torrential downpour slamming into it like a hammer.

Is the white in danger of touching them? What's it doing to the interior of the tower where it rains in? Alicia looks on to take things in before she reacts.

Anastasia

The window is cracked, but not yet broken. Therefore the tower isn't affected by the rain yet. The rain's slamming into it like a hammer though, and it may not be much longer.

"I'm curious what'll happen when the window breaks," Alicia says. "Is it safe to watch or should we reinforce it now?" she asks Seira since she's done all this before.

Corwin

"Sylvie told us that even deities can die permanently here," Seira cautions. "That said, I'm all for experimentation!"

She forms a sheet of deep blue in a hemisphere around the window, enough that once it breaks the adjacent walls and floor will be affected but overall contained all the same.

Alicia takes that warning for what it is and tenses to move if necessary should Seira's bubble falter.

"Yet the Beyond isn't innately harmful to us, so this white rain must have something more to it," she says, considering she's been out there before, both for Antenora's ascension and during a teleport mishap with Latha.

Anastasia

"So am I," Latha concludes, as the window shatters. Yet the sphere holds, at least for the moment. It's keeping the rain out.

Ebiris

Does the wall or the floor within the sphere suffer anything from the rain?

Corwin

Seira studies the masonry to see if it's being eroded, as if by acid.

"I wonder if the white is just the flow of energy from the Beyond, or actual concepts traveling here," she voices. "It could be that letting it come in contact with us will result in allowing a Horror past."

Anastasia

The masonry and wall do not show any signs of eroding, at least not immediately.

"It could," Jessica says, rapier drawn. She focuses a moment and more blue reinforces Seira's sphere. You also notice that the window reassembles itself, stopping the rain. "That is also very simple to do here. It's responsive."
