Easy enough. Lifasa feels like it helps a lot, or perhaps you're simply getting better at it.

Agony rips through you - like something inside of you tore. A pain like nothing else, and yet Lifasa's support eases you, mends you from the folly. You reel, vision lost for moments as everything swims in pain.

Well chosen, Lifasa saves your bacon. 400 damage.

[Nephrite]

He expected this might be possible, but still, it hurts like nothing else.

Thankfully, a Heal spell will resolve this particular issue... for now.

He takes a moment, breathing slowly as he lets the pain fade away.

"Ugh... The problem, as I see it, is when I'm there, I don't know that I can afford to push myself very far... so this may be too risky to even try there." He says quietly.

[Anastasia]

"Too risky," Sylvie agrees, "Ending up dead doesn't help you become One."

[Nephrite]

"Still, it seems like I can manage the very basic one without any real struggle, so it gives me a small advantage." Moore says with a smile. "Is there anything else you can think of? I know I had read that it was possible to bring something with me, but I can't really think of anything I made that would be of any benefit... unless I created something here to help bolster my force of will, but I don't know if that would work at all."

[Anastasia]

"You don't have the right talents for it or the time to do it longform," Sylvie admits, "I'd do it for myself if I go that way and I needed it."

Xandra glances sidelong at Sylvie. "How capable are you of that change?"

"I cheated," Sylvie admits honestly, "I had 21 help me just in case it ever came to this, and I decided to make the plunge. I don't want to be a full deity though, at least not to others." Here Sylvie doesn't hide her look of disdain, "I respect Oghma greatly and there's others who have treated us well, but...you don't live for yourself any more once you ascend and take worshipers. It's like parenthood but a hundred thousand times more."

[Nephrite]

Moore can't help but laugh. "Well, I think in this case, then... I'll simply have to make do with what I have and trust in my own hope and the hope of everyone else that this can succeed. Besides, we have someone looking out for us, so I think we'll be all right."

I'm good to head back and to make preparations to go give this a shot.

Well, before that, Moore will make himself a nice Blue oversized shirt for him to wear in the Beyond since he can't wear anything else.

Sure. One question: If you succeed, will anyone else try while you're there?

[Nephrite]

That's up to the others, I think. I'd lean towards no, in case there's anything from my own success that can be used to help them and they want some time to practice or anything.

If there's anyone who really wants to, though, then I won't object.
