"No one," Jormugandr agrees at last. The great serpent moves aside, enough to provide a path ahead. "Bring war to it."

"We will. Thank you for hearing us," Alicia nods before she gestures for Antenora and Syala to follow, flying through the now revealed path.

'I held nothing back there, few could have survived that,' Alicia sends back into the telepathic conversation as they move. 'I do wonder about the guardian though. With as much fighting is needed to reach it, I feel like a combat trial at the end would be redundant. Maybe it'll come down to riddles or a logic puzzle?'

[Anastasia]

'I had the same thought,' Antenora agrees. 'Any who could reach it have nothing more to prove. Indeed, I hear from Jessica that the other Guardian you faced was a puzzle inside of a battle.'

[Ebiris]

'Of a sort, different tactics and methods were required to survive and prevail through various stages, though there was no fighting involved to reach it,' Alicia confirms.

'We'll just keep that in the back of our minds,' Syala says, as...

You walk ahead down the tunnels - and pass a smaller burrow. From down it you can faintly hear the sound of something dripping - it sounds a bit too heavy for water.

No - everything there feels off, in flux. Something's wrong there, as if Ysgard itself is writhing there.

"Our best chance," Antenora says, "And hope the Guardian doesn't avoid us."

Syala nods slightly, "For the better."
