The other slaad whirls - but too late. Jessica's rapier pierces its throat, barely a sound as it fades like bad memory. It is broken like that, the battle over. The only thing left behind is the spears holding the slain deer up.

Free act. This was not a hard encounter, sometimes you run into those.

"Well, at least it was quick. Slaad, though... hmm..."

"Just a few slaad far from home," Jessica says as her blade it cleaned in an instant, will accomplishing the deed. "Unless there's deeper troubles here than we imagined."
