Sulia holds her ground as radiant storms erupt amid her enemies, sharp and sudden. They decimate her foes, the wounded slaad alla round you consumed by bright light. When it's left the way is clear - at least around you, with the black slaad on the shores, the chaos creatures fleeing and the white slaad currently decimated.

Yet the river keeps on pulling, keeps on resisting you, raging even as you advance on.

You stand tall amid the waters, even as Queen is pushed back. At the same time GET OUT thunders in your head, like a mantra chanted by a hundred mad monks.

Ssendam does nothing that you can discern or see. The black slaad stay on the banks. Chaos creatures continue to flee. White slaad.

The white slaad retreat as well, the ones still intact and not blinded fleeing to the banks, fleeing up them. For the moment at least the way is clear, or perhaps even they see the folly in opposing three deities. Perhaps even the will of the slaad balks at such a foolhardy venture. They watch from the shores, rabid and ready, yet not advancing on to bar your way.

With a burst of will Queen is no longer pushed back. She strides forward ahead, blade ready.

Alter reality for freedom of movement. Go.

The party hurries on, at the ready as you bolster yourself. Just in time, for the waters abruptly stop and pool into an impromptu lake. Here a golden figure sits - with a head that grows from his ankles and feet that grow from his neck. It hovers in midair, upside down gaze intent on all of you. A gaze of steel and water, of mindlessness and a fearsome, incomprehensible intellect.

They joined the river, that's not defying his words!

"We do. We will not do it any harm," she replies tersely.

You accept my words. You join the river and make it your own.

Make it her own? Alicia can do that.

The river begins to move again, the current picking up as a large chunk of it freezes underneath herself, Sulia, and Queen, rising up as an iceberg and convenient conveyance to carry them onwards to the stone.

Assuming Ssendam doesn't overrule her anarch-ing anyway.

Queen hops on while Sulia steps up, unbothered and undamaged, water falling away from her to leave her dry. She stands on it now with a smile, only to sit back as a throne of ice rises for her to sit on. "Is that sufficient?"

She takes that to mean that actions speak louder than words and so nods as their iceberg carries them onwards, whether around and past Ssendam or with him keeping pace with them.
