A new hill

[Anastasia]

To your will the gravity shifts, the strange elephant creatures hurtled into the air. Off they go and gone, falling long and heavily.

"That should clear our path nicely," Alicia says, resetting the gravity just above the savannah so they can continue to walk onwards normally while high up in the air it will continue pulling the elephants 'down' skywards at least for a couple of miles unless some other will changes things.

[Anastasia]

"You preempted my own efforts," Sulia admits pleasantly, "Fortunately, it does not seem those elephants were anarchs themselves."

"Nor blessed with the protection of one. Lets enjoy our advantage while we can," Alicia says, her tone similarly pleasant as they hustle onwards.

[Anastasia]

Ahead the savanna parts, changes. Ahead is a rainsoaked bog, swampy and fetid. The stench of hits you immediately, of rot and plants and stagnant water.

[Ebiris]

Did someone hear her talking about home?

"Maybe we should freeze it over..." she considers, allowing a chance for other ideas given Queen's preferences.

[Anastasia]

"I rather like your thinking," Empress Sulia says, a glance at Queen.

"I'm a warrior, not a shivering child," Queen retorts, as her own will and anarch powers extend. In an instant the bog is frozen over, ice ahead and trees covered in a thick snow.

"Perish the thought otherwise," Sulia demurs, "Thank you, Queen."

Snow crunches underfoot but the ice is thick enough to bear Alicia's weight as she pushes on through the now frozen over bog. "Makes it a lot more bearable," she says agreeably, even if the stone is still blasting at her to vacate the area.

Alicia stumbles as it feels like a giant iron spike has been slammed into her skull. A starburst of pain erupts, only supernatural will stopping you from utter ruin. Alicia manages to stay up, even as her head throbs with bright and sharp throbs of pain from such an obvious attack.

[Ebiris]

"Ow!" Alicia lets out a sharp exclamation of pain, a hand going to her head. "This is becoming more and more of a struggle for me," she admits, gritting her teeth and forcing herself onwards regardless.

[Anastasia]

Sulia's at your side, a gentle murmuring of healing magic soothing your pains. She supports you and helps keep you up, "Then rest on me rather than bear the sacrifice alone," she offers.

[Ebiris]

"I'll force myself if we get into trouble, but for now I'll take you up on that..." she shrinks down to the size of a coure and alights on Sulia's head.
