The same spot he went to last time - The Broken City. That seemed to be (at least from his understanding) the point of reference that the spell was using to find ORCHID.

Anastasia

The trip is uneventful and you are in the vicinity of the Broken City once more.

Go ahead, ball is very much in your court here.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

"My spell said to find ORCHID we should travel 'ahead and slightly downward,' so we will see if we come across anything." Moore says.

Ah... before he does that...

He will cast Hindsight to see if anyone of any importance came across here. He will try Days, Weeks, Years, then Centuries. It's entirely possible he won't get anything at all. He gets 35 days, then 35 weeks, 35 years and then... 1+ every 4, so that's 8, so 9 centuries, and it gets more vague each time, to the point where if it's years or centuries, it's possible it won't even register, but he's hoping the ORCHID passing through here at least counts as significant enough if it did happen in that timeframe.

Anastasia

CL check for Hindsight. Remember that you apply your divine bonus to checks (+1 at DvR1, +2 at DvR2, ect) to caster level checks.

[12:18] <Nephrite> roll 1d20+36+1
[12:18] <Penuche> Nephrite invokes Penuche's magic: < 40 > [d20=3]

Thank you for the reminder - in that case the numbers are 37 for the first three, and then 10 centuries for the last.

Anastasia

Caster level checks, not actual caster level. Like it boosts this or a spell resistance roll, but it doesn't enhance your actual caster level for other purposes.

Nephrite

I gave you a Caster Level check. My Caster Level for Bard is 34, I get a +2 to Divination school checks, +1 for the DvR.

Anastasia

Okay, misunderstood then.

You don't see any sign of ORCHID or anyone else remarkable on this little patch of the Astral.

Moore nods and will continue ahead and downwards!

Let's go this way for an hour or two. We will use greater teleport to go a mile since I can see a mile out, and just keep going like that until we come across ORCHID or something else interesting.

So, basically, just go ahead (and downwards) a mile every time we can with greater teleport.

Anastasia

You can't just hop around in the Astral easily, remember? You'll have to fly the hard way.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

Well, obviously I don't remember! Okay, hard way it is! Forward and down.

He will throw up a Haste to make it a little bit faster.

Anastasia

Okay then, Perception check as you three initiate your scheme.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.

Anastasia

You fly on for several minutes. No early signs of ORCHID, at least that you can see.

Cresiel stays by your side, ready to shield you at a moment's notice.

Sylvie flies about freely, a blur of blonde as she zips about impossibly fast.

After about 25 minutes, you spy something in the strange distances of the Astral. A prismatic sphere flies along in the far distance, radiant with light and color.

"I don't know if that's what we're looking for, but it's at least something." Moore says.

He proceeds towards it!
