Jetina's voice sounds in all of your minds as you fly along. 'This is so confusing. I hope this dragon can explain more of it.'

I doubt it can. Not the way that the new being described the situation. Though it could be tied to Synic.

'I foresee possible danger and possible reward ahead,' Xandra adds, 'We must not take this lightly, for I see this dragon has been here ages and has grown strong in the way all dragons do.'

<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

We will be open and honest as we always are, and see where that gets us.

Onward!

Anastasia

d100 for me real quick, pixie.

IT takes some time, but you fly inland. Soon enough a massive mountain rises up, surely tens of thousands of feet tall. A huge one indeed, snowcapped and rising up towards the sky in vast peaks.

Moore will have a look around as they get closer, for either a cave that goes inside it or this supposed valley in the mountain!

Perception for 97 if needed.

Anastasia

It's not hard as Kaja soon calls, "This way! I see the valley!" It's a rugged valley of once melted and slagged stone, covered over with sparse greenery and hints of snow. It's not large and has no river, but you notice a large square of stone lies there, big enough for all of you to stand on if you wanted and more aside.

Moore will head that way!

"Any sign of the dragon yet?" He asks.

Anastasia

"The stone there is the key to it. Stand there," Xandra announces, going in that direction.

"Yeah, sure," Kaja agrees, checking his scimitars. "Well, either a talk or a fight is ahead. Either way, at least it'll be straight forward unlike the rest of this."

"Yes, this does feel like some sort of incredibly twisted adventure we all would've found ourselves in some time ago." Moore says as he starts down to stand on the stone.

Anastasia

The party lands on the stone. When they do, a voice is heard. Rather soft spoken yet it carries on the wind. It says but one word, "Wait." In Common no less.

"Oh, is this some means of securing a draconic audience?" Jetina questions aloud.

"Could be," Sylvie concurs as she waits, arms crossed. "It's arrogant enough. Come here and wait on the dragon to descend like a god from above. He has the order of it all wrong."

Kaja smiles now, all too sharp and ready. "If he wants to press the question, a lesson can gladly be arranged."

"We're guests here." Moore says, with a slight tone of admonishment. "It can't be any worse than that dragon that hoarded knowledge that Xandra and I dealt with some time ago."

Anastasia

Kaja keeps his peace after that, pressing it no further. He merely waits - and not for long. Ahead the ground parts and a stone statue of a man comes forth from that chasm. He climbs out and walks forward, a statue well made and identical to a man clad in a light tunic and pants.

"No one comes to this remote a place without a reason," Is his answer, "Skip the pleasantries and get to the point of this." His voice is rough and he speaks Draconic, a faint rumbling sound to it.

Kaja smiles and you see him step forward in front of it. A pulse. A sense of Kaja, nigh overwhelming in that one moment. A sense of him and who and what he is, a clang of a battle, a cry of justice and revenge. He says not a word, but merely meets the statue's gaze.

"Lord Bahamut," The statue bows deeply, "I did not recognize your form, restrained as it is."

"We are not with the Platinum Dragon, but we do know him." Moore says as he steps forward, with a small smile to Kaja and then the statue. "It's a bit complicated, but we are all deities. My name is Moore, this is Kaja, Cresiel, Xandra, Jetina and Sylvie. We are of Hope's Landing of Celestia - I am aware you have not heard of it."

A pause there before he continues. "I apologize for intruding, but we are seeking information to clarify a few matters that have happened in the time you have been here. Do you mind entertaining those questions?"

Anastasia

The statue rises and responds, "Ask," it confirms, awaiting your questions.
