Entirely just trying to get him to calm himself down, nothing else. He can still be angry, but not trying to have a fight with the time lord.

[Anastasia]

Whatever you said, it isn't enough. Or it is.

Hard to tell when suddenly walls of not-time surround Synic like a cylinder, but not actually touch him.  That and your word seems to be enough - he stops. At least he doesn't lunge, and after a bare moment the walls of not-time are gone.

"There are other matters to attend to," Chrona 42 days, as Jetina slowly lets go of Synic and steps away. "I will be at your disposal once your current situation is resolved."

Normally there would be a save involved and blah blah blah but not critical in this situation.

[Nephrite]

Moore turns and nods to Chrona 42 before he turns back to Synic.

"I can't imagine how you feel, and I'm not going to tell you what you should do." Moore says. "But I would ask you try and rest, at least for right now. There will be..." Moore clears his throat. "Plenty of opportunities to find more out about the situation. You are my guest, and I don't wish for you to remember this place with anger in your heart - only hope for yourself and the future."

[Anastasia]

Synic shakes his head, but Jetina reaches out and lays a hand on his shoulder. "Rest," she asks gently. The resistance in Synic seems to falter and then fade, as he does just that and sits on the bed.

[Nephrite]

Moore flies over and sits down next to him.

"I know it doesn't compare, but I woke up without any of my memories." Moore says. "I still don't have most of them, but I learned that I had to stand on the feet that I have today, rather than worry about what I don't have anymore."

A pat to Synic's arm. "I know, it can't even begin to compare with the millions and millions of years for you, and I'm not trying to tell you that I understand what you're going through. What I am saying, though, is that you're an ally of mine now, and I'll do whatever I can to help you. Maybe you can't use chronomancy anymore - but that just means you have to develop new spells. I can help you do that. We managed to rescue you from a timeless death, so this sort of thing is right up our alley. You have to have hope for yourself, and I'll make sure you find it." He says. "I just want you to know you have friends here, and we'll support you. Okay? So for right now, just rest and recover yourself, and we can worry about the future later."

[Anastasia]

Meanwhile Chrona 42 excuses himself from the room for this.

Synic's answer is to rest back before he says, "One question," he asks at last. "What is the Godsrush?"

[Nephrite]

"...Wow, he really filled you in, didn't he?" Moore says with a chuckle. "It's... complicated to explain, but the short short version is that there are many new gods that have positioned themselves to fight Shar." He says. "There's more to it, of course, but that's the best summary I can give you. I don't know what Shar was like in your time, but she's... still a problem, let's say. For everyone in Creation."

[Anastasia]

"More trouble, more wars. As it always is," Synic says by way of perhaps agreement.

[Nephrite]

Moore smiles. "As it always is." He pushes himself off the bed. "I think you'd get along very well with some of my friends. For right now, we'll leave you to rest. Just call out if you need anything, any of us can hear you if need be."

Assuming he doesn't ask for company, we'll go meet Chrona 42.

[Anastasia]

Chrona 42 awaits you just outside of the room. "Moore," he greets, "Congratulations on your apotheosis in the Godsrush."

[Nephrite]

"Thank you, although I suppose you all knew it was going to happen anyway." Moore says with a smile. "Thank you for getting him caught up on current events, I doubt I could manage to do it quite so quickly."

[Anastasia]

"No thanks are needed," Chrona 42 goes on, "My purpose here is to test and teach you about chronomancy as well as the Temporal Compact. In normal circumstances a more hands on experience would be provided, but the Godsrush has necessitated a more direct approach."

As Jetina meanwhile comes out and gently closes the door behind her, "Please gather all the deities of Hope's Landing and meet me at your earliest convenience. I will await that time."

[Nephrite]

Huh, but shouldn't they have known this was going to happen anyway and prepared for it?

Maybe it doesn't work that way.

"A moment, please. Ah... sorry, I'll stop saying things like that, you know how long it'll be." Moore says.

A simple request with his will to the rest of the members to meet him is thus sent!

[Anastasia]

Jetina nods as you get agreements back - they're inbound for sure now.
