Okay, this is winding down. Any immediate todos?

We're distressingly clear on immediate todos.

Anastasia

Indeed, something to be fixed.

Alicia, I've just found word that Malcanthet's been sighted in Mechanus.

As you hear that, you work on other matters and affairs. Including such a prayer as, "Let them not shock me, let them not shock me!" from Clara, as she flees from a rush of a few dozen fiend tainted shocker lizards, down mountainous slopes.

That's unusual. Any more information or context?

As for Clara she is indeed in a rather distressingly dangerous situation. Shocker lizards are... shockingly, fast for their size, and tenacious too. She looks over the situation she's in to see if there's any potential help she can rely on or else a subtle way to slow the lizards down like with a rockslide or something.

Anastasia

No, but I wouldn't expect her to go there. I'm certain she broke rules with what Violet did to her.

You could provoke a rock slide, certainly. There's plenty of loose stone about as she flees from them.

Just because that many shocker lizards against one person is a death sentence (unless she had energy resistance but if she did she wouldn't be running), Alicia helps Clara out just this once. A rock she runs over starts teetering dangerously with a little tiny divine nudge, and when the shocker lizards reach it it begins rolling downhill and picking up more rocks, not a massive rockslide but one that takes advantage of the small stature of shocker lizards to destabilise or carry them along.

Clara gets a subtle hint of 'instinct' to change the angle of her run right before the rockslide starts so that she won't end up in its way. When she prays later on today she'll be chastised a little to be more careful and not get into situations like this again.

Antenora, she's a demon lord. Her every breath must be in violation of a great many of Mechanus's rules. But I doubt they know the specifics of what Violet did for her, it's not as if we told them. Would you like to visit Mechanus and investigate what she was doing there?

Anastasia

Yes, exactly and yet she walks in like she owns it. An investigation would only be prudent, even if I merely ask someone I know a few discreet questions.

Clara listens to her instincts as the rockslide gets going - and her ankle twists at the wrong time, a cry as she tumbles to the side. Upside? She misses all of it and the lizards, who go tumbling down in an understandable moment of deific intervention, since shocker lizards. Downside? She tumbles down around 50ft, bruised and bloodied when she finally comes to a stop by slamming her side into a pine tree.

Did she walk in like she owns it? Honestly Alicia has so little information or context here to know what happened at all.

You should investigate and learn more, I don't want to be caught flat-footed by her maneuverings but do remember if she was seen in Mechanus it's because she wanted to be seen.

As for Clara? Well, that looked like it smarted but she's a paladin, she can heal herself. It's still a lot gentler than the shocker lizards would've been if they got a good zap on her!

Anastasia

I'll have word shortly, my source owes me a favor.

Well good!

Hopefully that word will be educational and Clara will get herself to safety.

Anastasia

Within 20 minutes, Antenora appears next to you, "It was quick," she concurs.

"Hello Antenora," she says aloud. "What did you find out?"

Anastasia

"She was there by appointment to see a kolyarut to negotiate the release of a soul bound to her," Antenora begins, "Mundane but also not the whole truth." She stands at your side, "She also had a discussion with an unknown quarut and asked about two beyalhut titans she believes are captured in the Abyss."

Planes on beyalhut titans in general, and a pair in the abyss in particular?

Beyalhuts, also known as Mechanus bruisers, are powerful inevitables build to track down chaotic creatures that flout the laws of Creation. Unlike other inevitables, they are not dedicated to a single task or realm of responsibility. They assist other inevitables in dealing with threats and accrue experience in many different matters. They are of dim intelligence but eager to preform their duties at the command of another inevitable.

Beyalhut Titans are the exemplars of beyalhuts, the best of the best. They're blunt instruments when nothing else will work against chaos. You wouldn't want to face one if you were a chaotic creature, they can tear apart almost anything. Many also learn the same tricks Gathgorian has as a prosecutor against chaos.

As for two of them in the Abyss? It's not uncommon. Usually they're used well enough to get out just fine, but sometimes it doesn't work out for them. You can think of over a dozen legends off the top of your head that might be a pair of those and could fit, you'd need more info. It's not like Mechanus is lazy in fighting chaos.
