Out of sight, everything becomes incoherent and faded, like a landscape waiting to be defined. Unrealized space, ready to be molded by the controller of this place.

If this is not a physical attack then expect an attack on our spirits. Whatever Shar has to show us, she believes it will bring us despair, so steel yourselves.

Imparting that warning to her companions, Alicia strides down the tunnel.

You stride on as the cavern's walls begin to glint with a metallic cast. Lines of metal, sleek tubes that seem almost like metallic shadows, run through the walls now. As space forms mere steps ahead of your sight, just enough to not disturb the illusion that this is a whole and formed place if not for your superior senses?

A swirling node. A nexus. You step into a larger space, where the tubes extend further. Here, at the very end, the avatar of Shar stands. Her head is bowed low, as if lost in a deep contemplation.

There are few things stronger than us in Creation.

But we are not quite supreme.

You've felt Sylica's will. Your realm is mighty and it would do anything to protect you. Look at how Bytopia mourned the loss of what drove it.

Was more trying to figure out what all the pipes are doing and if they're some way of creating/controlling an avatar for this demi-plane or else for the plane of shadow.

Is this demonstration going to be incipiently fatal for them?

There's no point trying to stop her, it's just an avatar and so whatever she's demonstrating is something Shar herself and any of her other avatars can do at any time. Better then to learn just what this technique entails so they can better form countermeasures.
