Shar steps back into the wall. The wall is indistinct as is the avatar - and slowly they seem to become one. Merging, folding together, combining before your very eyes.

A new system had spread - like the Weave and not, and it connects the avatar and the demiplane here. A sort of unholy combination, an elimination of barriers into one whole through this connection.

Would it effectively turn the avatar into a mobile demiplane or does it just result in a super-buff avatar within the demiplane?

"So that's what you did with Mystra's blood," Alicia says in realisation. "Why are you showing us this, Shar?"

Because...

I want to see your face the moment you realize your entire purpose is pointless and doomed.

Shar's voice is warm, even concerned.

Because I will be the one to grant you the rest of oblivion when existence becomes too painful to continue.

In that voice is soothing tones, as if to wash away your fears.

Because no matter what you will do, you are condemned to failure. Every battle and struggle you have waged is a meaningless rearguard action after your defeat is assured. All the sacrifices you have made are nothing. All the blood you have spilled is only a pleasant distraction from your reality.

Marie, Latha? Please help me with wresting control. The demiplane is morphic; like Limbo.

"I thought it might be something like that," she says as she asserts her anarchic control over the demiplane to wrench the avatar loose and 'tie off' the system that's been put in place here so it can't be easily re-done.

It's like trying to move lead. It's wrong, something clings to the entire demiplane. It resists your will like a stain clings to a white dress, as if to spoil the entire thing and never leave.

Is that it? I expected more of a struggle, not feeble flailing.
