Let's do a bit of detail. I was trying to track down the structure of the tribes and the names of their leaders, to start with.

[Anastasia]

The tribes vary. You find out it's shorthand for various groups and structures. Generally speaking, alliances and organizations fall apart and form with ease, often morphing and with information at times out of date. The emergence of powerful figures does little to change this - they simply make new groups as needed. As if everything they do is unnaturally fragile, with social constructs crumbling to the least effort.

Any sort of like legendary leaders or anything about a unifying leader ever?

A few, but any unity never lasts.

You know enough about people and organizations from your knowledge ranks to note this isn't how it normally works, period, but it seems to work this way in this world.

Hmm.. Is there currently a one "largest" clan?

[Anastasia]

As of the writing of this, the Steel Eagles are the biggest, but it even notes this may be out of date.

Well, let's do some Legendary Lore-ing on it to see if it's still correct!

According to legend, the Steel Eagles were a briefly lead tribe that quickly gave way to infighting over tactics. There's not a lot the spell provides - your arcane lore lets you know that's because while it qualified, it simply didn't exist all that long.

Okay... What about traditions? Something to establish diplomatic relations?

[Anastasia]

It's pretty basic. Beat someone up or get beaten up and get convinced, or meet a friend or whatever. The only constant is that hospitality is not violated lightly.

Generally though, a leader gets rolling and gathers moss until something breaks up his rock and the process repeats and repeats.

Well... Can we identify a clan that would be "the most open" to us?
