Alyssa sends an envoy to Selune, with a letter going over the broad strokes of the situation and the ones involved, asking for insight to the nature of the plane.

Alyssa mentally sighs to herself, but responds cheerfully, Yes, I do. Bahamut and Helm have both somewhat snubbed our efforts to find out about the nature of the plane.

[Anastasia]

They do not wish to involve another in this particular world, and they are not without reason.

What do you know of the nature of Chaos?

What *do* I know here? I know there'll be some assumed knowledge, but not to what level.

Chaos is change, alterations, mutation, freedom. It is inconstant and forever different, a thousand faces that never agree with one another. It is possibilities and so much more.

Some. I understand that it's change. Possibilities. What it is, is never the same for long.

[Anastasia]

That raw possibility was accidentally woven into part of this world. The mortals under it are affected, granted the boons and banes of Chaos.

So even those of the Lawful slant may have boons of increased potential. Interesting. My interest in this plane is to keep the chaotic tribes from being completely wiped out, however neither Bahamut, Helm, or the mortal Academy seem particularly interested in it. Do you think there could be someone in the tribes that has the potential to forge, at the very least, lasting borders?

[Anastasia]

That is the tragedy. They have both the gifts and the banes - and one of those is a nature like the slaad themselves. Their nature and themselves are not constant.

Alyssa leans back in consideration, That makes me wonder if I should get involved beyond helping them with their magic... Though, at the very least, I feel I should attempt to contact the tribes and offer at least some help to keep the scales balanced.

[Anastasia]

Do as you will, so long as you learn from it. It is your beginning, merely continue to grow.
