I've been contacted by The Adversary in regards to aiding him with an artifact. I don't have any details as to what it is, nor do I fully trust him or whatever he'd be willing to offer.

I had intended to still meet him to analyze the item in question, so that if I could find out more. If it ultimately belongs to you I can certainly let you know which one it is.

So far, he's only asked for assistance with the artifact. I expect there's more to it, hence gathering some more information before we meet with him.

It's possible he has the Lyre of Dandrens. Have you ever held a Lyre of Building?

I actually keep one on me at all times.

Is it one that needs a bard to constantly activate?

Hmm... I wonder... do you think if someone of The Adversary's skill could use it to 'give themselves' the knowledge of activating it without that? It seems like it must be something that he needs unlocked only once, if that makes sense.

No. I thought of that idea when I created it.

[Nephrite]

Hmm... It's possible - it feels like whatever this is that he has needs to only be unlocked once, if that makes sense. But it's also possible that he just wants this item for one specific thing and doesn't care about it afterwards.
