Is he evil? Since divinations go through and all.

[Anastasia]

He is not.

"No, only your benevolent disinterest," Is the answer, "To which you will be well rewarded."

[Corwin]

"And this benevolent if anonymous friend of mine, what does he intend to do with Fire afterwards?"

[Anastasia]

"Cleanse away the rot and filth," Is the answer, "A bonfire unlike any others will burn it away."

[Corwin]

"I'm amenable to the idea, but I'd like to talk directly to your boss."

[Anastasia]

With a bow, "My patrons wish to stay...discreet. I'm sure you understand, and will be properly compensated for this."

[Corwin]

"I understand the desire, but I'm afraid that's not negotiable. The way I see it, your patrons wish for two things, to remain anonymous and for me to overlook matters on Fire. I'm willing to go for one of the two, but not both."

[Anastasia]

"Then I will relay your desires to them," The elf bows once more. "By your leave?"

[Corwin]

Seira nods, gesturing in clear dismissal.

[Anastasia]

With that the elf departs, leaving you without further comment.
