"Alright, let's see if we can't find out what his door is and what the magic on the key is. I don't want this ending up with us unleashing some unspeakable horror."

"The simplest way would be to hold the key and let it work," Dolmaya notes as she looks over the key. "Also the riskiest."

[Iron Dragoon]

"Hmm..."

Can I judge the strength of the magic on the key and if it'll do something like make me go insane or the like?

[Anastasia]

It's overwhelming magic. You don't think it will, and even if it did, it would be surprising if it could affect you to madness.

[Iron Dragoon]

"Well, I don't think it's powerful enough to really affect me... But let's see if I can't track the spell it's linked to. It should be either more keys or the door itself. If there are more keys, it'd be best to get them away from those it can affect."

[Anastasia]

Next move against it then? Legend Lore or something else?

Yeah, unless there's some way to like, use the magic that's on the key to find similar magic, or the matching magic of the door.

[Anastasia]

You have magic as a domain, right?

[Iron Dragoon]

Yarp. Domains: Magic, Knowledge, Travel, Forge. I was hoping I could do some sort of tracking with Magic/Knowledge, and then figure out where it led to with Travel.

[Anastasia]

With those two domains it would be up your alley and you might be able to cobble something together. Moreso if you see what it tries to do to someone.

Alright, then let's do that with tracking stuff down as the primary focus and seeing the effects as a secondary goal.

[Anastasia]

Looking carefully and with a good deal of work, you believe the key is trying to take you to somewhere in the Deep Ethereal. It's not that hard to figure out when it's purpose is to get you to go there.
