Alyssa casts Greater Arcane Sight on herself and begins inspecting the area.

Honeydip nods, "Forward," she instructs. "Get it done, Alyssa!"

There's a knot of magical energy here. It's acting as an impromptu stabilization, which keeps this little area of Acheron clear. That's not its purpose - it doesn't have one, just a great deal of leftover magical energies strong enough to endure on their own and react to Acheron.

What's more interesting is that you can discern the beginnings of an intelligence within it.
