Nephrite

"Someone like you who'd want to go back to Hades must have a wealth of knowledge about tactics and strategic information about daemon strongholds." Moore says. "Why don't you share that with us?"

A bright smile follows.

It is the kind of smile that you assuredly do not ever want to see if you're an evil outsider.

Anastasia

A grunt, "Paper," A single word is ground out.

Suddenly plenty is before him, Erathaol's gaze right on him as well.

As you might expect, a great deal of writing follows under your gazes.
<Afina> Imagine a tiny pixie boot stamping on a devil's face.
<Afina> Forever.

<Yuthirin> Afina, giant parasitic rainbow space whale.
<IronDragoon> I mean, why not?

Nephrite

He will wait until he's done writing (again) and invoke the spell.

May as well try it and see if we get anything else decent out of this.

Anastasia

Hm. It hasn't been wrong yet...

Moore glances at the papers, then back to Gyme. "Is that it?" He asks, straightforward - no hostility meant but plenty of rather surprised disappointment.

Anastasia

A growl, deep and low, then the creature's shoulders slump. The answer is a nod, broken, exhausted. No resistance, just silent consent.

<Afina> Forever.

"You lied to us." Moore says. "I explained the terms at the beginning of this and yet you still lied."

A shake of his head as he turns to Erathaol. "Lord Erathaol, I turn him over to your custody, or to the custody of the Authority of Wardens at your word." He says simply.

Anastasia

With a gesture Gyme is gone.

"I expected nothing less from a daemon, but there is still value in what he told us," Erathaol states calmly.

Moore nods. "Now, the next step is Monoxious. I don't appreciate what he's doing and I wonder how to proceed." He lets out a breath.

"I'm all for simply marching in and turning him into ash but I wonder if that's the most effective use of our time and ability." He says with a glance to the others. "There's still the matter of the First Prison that I think takes precedence over him anyway, but if anyone believes he is more a concern we can change our priorities."

Anastasia

Sylvie shakes her head, "We're stepping into deep daemon politics if we do," she begins, "That's a quagmire without end.At least with the Adversary you're dealing with someone on top. Who knows how Monoxious connects to everything?"

"Should you slay one daemon a hundred emerge to try and take over," Erathaol states, "It is not pointless, but there is an art to it to prevent it from being a zero gain game." He gestures ahead at the light of Chronias, "Often that is skillful manipulation and containment of the daemon you know rather than ones you do not."

"In other words, no, there's not a lot of point going first thing to deliver justice to Monoxious," Sylvie agrees, "On the other hand, it would be a short and sharp message that interference in our affairs has consequences."

Nephrite

"Then perhaps simply reaching out with a message will be sufficient." Moore says. "He's aware of who we are anyway, so this should be a simple enough matter. Any objections?"

Anastasia

"I don't have any," Jetina says, "Just make sure it's the right message."

Nephrite

Hello, Monoxious.

I am going to make this short and to the point. If we come across any more of your underlings in our travels, we will be putting a stop to your plans personally next. I suggest you recall all of them to Glahhen and stay there for a while and behave yourself for a few centuries.

If we're doing Intimidate it's 120.

Anastasia

There's no answer to that. Perhaps unsurprising, perhaps not. Only silence after your ultimatum is delivered.

"The message has been delivered." Moore says. "Now then, I believe we have two other prisoners from the First Prison to check on."
