One dretch daydreams about stalking and hunting men, pulling them down, tearing off their clo - well, that's enough of that.

The second dretch considers, in a dim sort of self reflection, of why this guard duty always makes it feel nostalgic.

The oozy creature chants a mental mantra, again and again. "I am my weapon. My weapon will kill. I will kill."

Easily. It's a trap almost certainly, but I can get us in. I checked it while you were doing the rest. I'm fairly certain that it's a secret that's meant to be found and funnel the less skilled into a no win trap. If I were them, the basement access would be the 'right' answer and lead to an even nastier trap.

If they're smart, there's really only one way in and that's the front door.

What's your real body doing? I'm having to fight with Antenora about the layout of a path through a forest between Sylica and Elysium. She wants it to come out at a vantage with a good view over Sylica but that's in the middle of nowhere, I want it to come out right into one of the border towns. We'd make two paths but then Syala gets annoyed at cutting down so many trees for it.

Needless to say, she's mentally quite occupied beyond present abyssal horrors.
