Alyssa taps her chin, "I can work with that. Thank you for your time, Lord Io."

'Be strong and continue to grow,' Io commands you. 'Be safe.'

Alyssa bows and heads back!

Once you're away from Io, "So dragon flattery and bribery it is?" Bastian asks.

Alyssa shrugs, "Rulers are rulers. It's the same for all of them, isn't it? The only thing that changes is the scale."

[Anastasia]

That gets Bastian to laugh, "Even dragon scales?"

Alyssa chuckles, "Even those."

Okay, how are you going to approach this one?

Well, the magic part isn't such a problem. There's a few spells I want to keep private, but that's really it.

The rest... Hmm... I'd do some research on what kind of creatures Bahamut hates, or his worst enemies, and see if there's some sort of material/trophy I could use as a base material for crafting something. Then, invite him to the Academy, do the spell trade, a tour if he wants, and then propose an alliance, with the idea of the item as a way to seal the alliance.

Could be workable, sure. Go ahead and figure out an exact plan and we'll start working it out.

Okay, so first thing is researching creatures he hates or enemies. That should be fairly easy to do with the library, legend lore, and possible contacts in Brightwater for info. So that first.

Check's easy to pass. Bahamut's main enemies are Tiamat and chromatic dragons. That one's stone obvious. He has his quarrels with evil in general of course, but inter dragon matters are his big thing.
