Rackham, opened the small pouch to reveal five stones contained within.  There appeared to be three diamonds and two rubies within, sparkling in the partial sunlight that filtered to them.

O'karn caught the small bag in his mailed hand, sniffing slightly before opening it with his broad fingers.

Well, Goodbye.

Drall grabbed the pouch and waited for someone else to open it - after all, one could never be too careful, he mused.

After seeing Rackham open his bag to no apparent ill effect, Drall shrugged and opened his own bag to inspect the contents.  With a grin, he rifled through the contents, trying to place value on what was there.

O'karn smelled slightly musty canvas before fumbling at the strings a little bit.  Upon opening it, he found five glittering stones, three translucent ones glittered brighter than the two red ones.  He recognized them all as gems he had seen before.

O'karn smiled toothily and remarked "Shinies."  Closing the bag, he stuffed it in his sidepouch.  Nodding approvingly at the wizard he grunted out, "Human wizard, tell me more about Zaphiel.  What does this pathetic fool look like?"  He spoke common with a sort of gutteral and rough accent.

Drall found five gems, all to be about the size of a grape.  They all had six equally sized facets to them.  He flinched as his was finger pricked the rough edge of one of the diamonds.

From his knowledge, they were of fine quality, but small, and should fetch a decent price back home.

Akranel responded to O'karn, "He stands 7 feet tall with long silver hair.  His eyes are deep blue and while he is fit, he isn't very bulky.  He was considered fair when younger and has lost little of his looks."

Rackham blinked once before stuffing the the bag in his belt pouch.  "These look like they could buy a new weapon, " he thought.

Rackham nodded to the orc's inquiry.  "And where is it that we must go first?  I dislike standing around," he growls.

Rackham is once again gripping his scythe in both hands.  His eyes still continue to rove around, especially to those that look like mages.

"Seven feet, you say?" Drall repeated.  "What race is your brother anyway?" He then held up his pouch and asked, "This is a fair 'down-payment' as you have put it, but I wonder: how much more can we expect for fulfilling this contract?"

"You say he has power," O'karn continued in his gutteral accent, "What kind of power?"

"And I want to know more about his army.  Can they fight?  Or are they simply peasants with poorly handled weapons."

A small light appeared in Rackham's eyes at the word "fight," he bit the the corner of his lip.

"And is this brother of yours a pure...mage, or can he handle himself with a blade."

Arkanel looked out upon the people.

"As to the race of my former brother.  He is simply a chosen, as I am.  The silver hair is the mark we are born with to distinguish us as such.

"Alas, I do not know for sure what secrets or powers he might have acquired, or given to his followers.

"I was to show you Camelot next, and then discuss ways in which it might be breached.

"But I think as you do, it is time we departed this place.  Lafiel has some robes for you all to wear.  So as to not attract too much undue attention.  It is not unwise to think that there will be agents in the city or in the area.  It is not unique from pilgrims from afar to look upon Camelot and discuss tidings with me."

As he spoke, the woman again stood holding a pile of white clothing.  She looked at Arkanel, and he nodded to her.

She turned to the assembled group and approached O'karn first.  She turned the pile over in her hands, before placing it down.  Taking the top garment off, it appeared to be white a robe.  She held it up to him, while letting the bottom drag on the floor.

Arael listened intently; any power mentioned would, without a doubt, be important. Such details could- nay, would, mean the difference between life and death.

Hearing the scythe-wielding man continue to interrupt Arael almost sighed. Why were lambs always such thick headed buffoons? If they'd only value life more the Shepherds wouldn't have to take so many of theirs away.

Casting her mind his way while outwardly listening to the silver-haired mage, she implemented her charm ability on him, her intent to silence him through compulsion.

Drall looked at the white clothing in disgust.

"Surely we do not all have to wear such garments," he protested.  "It would greatly task my abilities to conceal myself if need be.  I would prefer to hide in the shadows than wear a white robe."

O'karn grunted distastefully, little liking to cover up the armor that was his heritage.  But then, concessions occassionally had to be made.  Taking the robe in a mighty hand from the stupid human, he lifted it up, looking over it.
