Lafiel proceeds to place robes down in front of the others.  Before returning to stand next to Arkanel.  holding a robe for Devon.

After accepting the robe, Drall looked it over with a frown, then sighed.  "Well, I suppose it isn't too bad.  At least it's not some bright colors that would stand out a mile away."

Pulling his cloak tight, he carefully slipped on the robe, making sure to conceal all of his visible weapons.  He then shifted a bit, checking, then nodded.  'I should be able to access most, if not all, of my weapons - well, except for my crossbow.  But if necessary, I will merely rip off this robe.'  He pulled at the robe.  'Hopefully, I will be able to easily do so.'

Drall now grinned toothily and walked over to the tall humanoid and the female in white.  He nodded once to each of them, then turned away to look at the rest of the group.

Arkanel responded softly, "I can only assume that's a possibility.  I have neither experience nor proof with what you speak."

Grunting, O'karn gestured to Arkanel to lead off and begin his story.  "The others can catch up to us with your servant."

Fearless Leader
Well, Goodbye.

Rackham realized that it would fit, but that it would be bulky and a bit constricting if worn over all those other items.

Taking the robe from Lafiel, Devon nodded to her with a muttered, "Thanks."  Turning back to Arkanel while examining the robe he frowned, "Let's hope that isn't the case."

Lafiel flashed Arkanel a look, which he responded to with a calm façade as he began to walk towards the northern edge of the platform.

"Let us depart," he said.  Stopping to place a hand upon the young girl's shoulder, he bent down and whispered something in her ear.   Her frown deepened but she stood aside and turned to the group.

"She will lead those who are still acclimating themselves when they are ready.  We are heading towards the mountains.  It's about 10 miles, and the town is just past the peeks.  If you get separated, ask for my house, it is on the lake and hard to miss."

O'Karn grinned broadly behind his mask as he heard the news.  Nothing like the pikes of stone, travelin' up to the heavens.  "Well then, human mage.  Let us be off.  And tell us of the journey you made into the fortress of the mad fool.  It could be important."

Well, Goodbye.

Miaka, coming out of her daze, hurried after the departing Arkanel.

Pulling off his cloak, and revealing a rather flat looking backpack, Devon folded it and placed it into the pack along with his sword and bow.  Pulling on the robe, he tested his range of motion while following Arkanel and the large creature.

Arkanel looked at O'karn,  "As I said earlier.  This was a little while back and I went up to the gates and asked to see him.  I had hoped to talk reason with him," he responded.

Rackham frowned serverly, before taking off his cloak, revealing a black leather backpack.  He then carefully folded his cloak and tucked it in his backpack, before donning the robe.  He then picked up his backpack and slipped it on his back.  Seeing that the robe wouldn't conceal his scythe, Rackham took it in hand once again.  Like the bone-covered humanoid had done, Rackham then proceeded to test the flexibility and mobility of his new attire, by stretching and giving a few practice swipes with his scythe, taking care to not aim at anybody.

Why, oh why wasn't I born rich?

Arael followed closely as well.

"Please continue your tale."

Rakham swung easily in the garment, feeling no constrictions to his movements.

Drall inspected his robe carefully, trying to figure out how strong it was, and how easy it would be to rip or damage.  He also tried to decipher the value of the robe's materials.
