Hey, it's [name withheld?], ID.  You said you wanted me to write, so here it goes...

Not much has happened, but at the same time, a lot has.  As you probably expect, I've been up to my usual antics.  One of my Corporals pushed my buttons one too many times, and I respectfully said, "Fuck you, Corporal!"  Big surprise, eh?  It's amazing the effects those three words had, it still makes me grin.  First, my Corporal was going to charge me, then my Staff Sergent was going to demote me, then my Lietenent stepped in to figure out what caused it.  The result of the Lt's "intervention" was a 2 hour counseling session, me having to put *some* effort forth, my Corporal getting moved to a different platoon, and me getting a page 11 instead of demoted.  A page 11 is basically nothing more than a note saying what I did.  Oh, I also dodged an NJP, Non-Judicial Punishment; basically an unofficial court martial.  What I did, they could actually court martial me for... Basically I dodged so well I made the Matrix look pitiful.  Like I said, my usual antics.  :)

On a few brighter notes, we got our mission.  So far it's about as safe as you can get for a war.  Secondly, due to some work I did, and a little math, I'm probably going to find religon here pretty soon.  I can't really say more about it since it's classified, but, trust me, it's a good reason.  Also, I'm now the radio man, if you want to know what that entails, ask Herb, he knows.  Other than that, all I got to say is, "Damn, the desert is cold!"

PS - Pass on whatever to the forum/chat.  I don't really have too much paper, so until I get my box from home, I'm gonna switch between sending letters to you, IY-chan, and Koneko.  And it seems to take around 22 days for me to get mail, so... Oh, tell Koneko I'll send her a letter as soon as I get some stamps, apparently it's only free for me to send to the states.

Wow... I'm relieved... I've been kinda worried about him.  And I'm curious about what he's doing...

Mistakes are scattered throughout... he made some that I corrected, and I'm sure I made some... For example, he says 'religon' in the second paragraph... I left that because that's pretty obviously religion, but I have no idea what he's talking about, so I might be wrong?  O.o

There was a paragraph at the end, but that was only to me... you can get it if you ask me... I just don't think anyone would care.  o.O

Anyway, I'm really glad he's safe!  At least, 22 days ago he was?  *shrugs*

I think he might've seen/done something so bad that he'll have to resort to finding a higher deity to onsole himself? ^_^

Well, hopefully we get Iddy back alive AND bring Saddam back in a body bag.
