"I'll probably have more questions for you tomorrow, but for now it's time to turn in.  Can you tell me where I can find a bed in this place?"

Arkanel rang the bell.

A few moments later, Clara came in.

Beconing the young man, he followed her to anohter room, where she took out and lit a lamp, before leading him down a flight of stairs.

One bed was occupied by the man Jeremaih had arrived with, the other 13 were empty.

She handed him the lamp, and returned upstairs.

A smile crossses the smith's face as he looks at Daggedal.  "interesting!  We have a place that sells various soil samples.  It's the greatest rage.  They have them in little glass vials that reflect light differently when held in the sky.  Great party decorations!"

He frowned then.  "Unfortunately all the stores should be closed by now, I was just finishing up some stuff.  But they'll be open tomorrow, bright and early, 10 am as always."

Dropping his coat and pack onto the floor, Jeremiah kicked them under the bed.  Stifling a yawn as he pulled his boots off, he let himself fall heavily into the bed.

Rackham paused in his labor and examined the hides, trying to gauge if more scraping was in order.  Reaching into his belt pouch he pulled out the smaller gem pouch and tossed it over to Nirae.  "Here, you tell me if they look real or not."

"ell, Orkanel, we 'ave a few preperations to make, but we can do them in the morrow, what with all the shops being shut."

Daggedal nods to himself.

"I believe a couple of your comrades are sleeping out back, while a couple are sleeping in the basement.  The boy will show you to either."

Figment

Devon woke around midnight, the moon hung low in the western sky; a half-crescent illuminatng the yard and reflecting off the lake.  A normal human would easily make out the shapes and even some of the descriptions of his sort-of companions.  There were no sound, but he could see lamp-light coming from in front of the house.

Figment

Rising soundlessly, Devon swiftly packed his bedroll.

Pulling on his cloak and raising the hood, he headed off into the night in a loping run.  Following the lake to the west.
