Turning around, Devon went back down the hallway, passing the small hallway with the two guards.

Walking passed the corridor he came from, he walked about 25 feet to another 't' intersection.

The right went about 15 feet to a sturdy looking wooden door.  To the left, about ten feet down stood two more soldiers, standing outside two doors facing each other.

Moving down the hallway to the left, Devon stopped five feet from the guards and looked at the doors.

Both doors were closed and wooded, with iron reinforcements present.

Devon moved silently down the hallway, continuing past the sentries.

Devon moved past them, another 15 feet before coming to another intersection.   A hallway met the one he was on from his left.

Ahead, he could see a small doorway on his right, a little ways down the hallway, and then a set of stairs going up, past that.

Devon looked down the hallway to the left.

The hallway continued for quite some distance.  The only discerning marks were their appeared to be a doorway near the end on the right side, and a passage was visible on the left, after about 15 or 20 feet.

Devon moved down the hallway to the left.

Stopping at the next intersection, Devon noted the hallway to his left was where he had come forth from.

The hallway continued on ahead till it ended.   A door clearly visible right before it ended.

Going over to the door at the end of the hallway, Devon examined it.

It was a sturdy door with a an opening at the top in the middle of it.  The opening was covered by think bars and a wooden panel that seemed to open/close from the other side.

Nodding to himself, Devon headed back towards the stairs and looked up them.

Heading back the way he came, he looked up the staircase to see that they led to another hallway.

Devon went up the stairs and looked around.
