NEW SECTION: Fanart, Thoughts wanted

Okay, the idea was recently floated by me to have a fanart section.  A place for art related to:
The games on board (Character art, scene art, etc, would be nifty as hell)
RPG's in general
Anime/fanfiction
And misc artwork (Either stuff that's ungodly cool or stuff done by our own artist squads)

I know we have quite a few artists on the board.  I know we also have people with ungodly large collections of cool fanart.  This is something drac rather likes.

How it would be implemented.  There would be a moderator or two.  I already have at least one in mind.  If someone else is willing to also help out, pm me.  Basically, currently we would limit it to off site links and 100 kb worth of attachment.  Anything more would be deleted.  The attachments would be cleaned off once a week or once every month.  Something like that.  This is current.  Later when we move to a larger server, we'll probably allow a bit more.  We'd expect some sort of rating system/warning.  There would be no direct postings (Links or attachments, no imbedings).

Thoughts?  Like?  Dislike?  Will you participate?

Okay, further on this, and given some thoughts I think this will be a distinct possibility.

Currently the forum is limited in terms of webspace.  Though apparently some people are willing to donate parts of their webspace to provide room for the fanarts to be hosted.

If you are willing to, please post here, and how much you would be willing to allocate to this.  I'll be calculating up figures of usage during the first month or so based on how much we have avaliable to be used for art and how much it is used and figuring out rules and such based on that.

Any other suggestions, ideas, etc, go here.

Drac: While you explain attachment usage for that folder in here, you might also want to go and update the "Laws of the Soulriders..." thread and say that they're okay in the fanart folder as well, for the newbies' benefit.

Good point.  When I get a chance I'll draw up some neat and organized rules for it.  But just what they will be will depend on the usage.  At current I might not put much restrictions at all.
