Saviours, the game!

Moving along the wall to the west, Devon looked at the east end of the room.

Devon could see another set of large double doors on the east end of the room.  The souldiers that had entered the hall where piling out that way.  

Other than the door Devon had come out of, there were two more doors on the same wall.  Three doors mirrored the three on the north wall.  The doors on the side walls were all wooden and of average size.

Devon made his way to the base of the stairwell he had entered under and looked up it.

He saw that the two stairwells met at a sort of balcony above him.  He could see sunlight shiny forth from over the railings.

Devon made his way up the stairs to the balcony.

The balcony overlooked the hallway.  Devon could see more soldiers entering the hallway from the door on the North wall and heading outside.  He had seen ten in all so far.

The balcony was connected to a hallway.  Directly accross from the balcony, there was a huge glass window, that had a door in the middle of it.  Outside was another balcony, with stone railing.  It overlooked a pond that was fed by a spectacular waterfall.

Devon went over to the door leading outside and quickly slipped through.

Devon stood on a narrow stone balcony overlooking the semi-circled pond that was the repository for the waterfall.  He could feel the fine mist of water hit his face and the roaring of the water drowned out most sound.

The stone railing was intricately designed with a floral pattern, and stood waiste high.

Looking down, he could see the rear of the castle.  A group of guards stood at moderate attention together on the ground to his left and he could see a set of stairs plainly visible leading down somewhere.

As he looked he saw Miaka walking with one of the guards past the other soldiers and underneath.

Quickly slipping over the side of the balcony, Devon gripped the edge of the railing before dropping down onto the road below.

Devon landed easily, turning his head, he noticed some of the soldiers look in his direction before returning to their own actions.

Miaka and the soldier continued walking, approaching the corner of the castle in the distance.

Moving swiftly but silently, Devon hurried after Miaka and her escort.

[kpjam]

Devon hurried after them.  Turning the corner, he noted that there was about 100 yards between the mountains and the castle wall here.  

The path he traveled was dirt, and looked to be old, the grass and flowers were making an effort to reclain the land he now traversed.

Looking he could see the where the plots seemed to be partitioned into an old garden.

Devon continued on, still moving swiftly so as to close the gap between himself and Miaka enough that he could overhear the conversation, slowing down and matching her pace once he did so.

Devon caught up to them when they made it to the next corner.  They walked into the front couryard.

A large wall could be seen in the distance.  Devon could instantly tell from the size it wasn't the same one he had seen before.

The guard was paying attention to the chatty Miaka, although Devon could see no form of coersion in their steps.  He appeared to be given her a tour of the grounds.

The pair he was trainling continued on towards the gate in the wall and through where they stopped a few feet into them.

Their were two large stone buildings on either side of the road that cut through the middle of the valley.

Behind both buildings their were fields, were training, both physical and magical were taking place.

Looking around, Devon did a quick count of the number of people on the training grounds, still following Miaka.
