Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Anastasia]

"If you wish," she says, holding it out.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat nabs the ring. "So I only need to eat when I'm actually being healed?" he asks, sticking it on his finger. "I'd hate for it to be in effect all the time."

[Anastasia]

"Yeah," she says. "I don't think you get fat off it, though. The energy is burned for the healing."

[Carthrat]

"I have to watch my food carefully as it is, though. The fine specimen of man you see before you is- well, no, that's a lie. I havn't been to a gym in the past decade." Carthrat rubs the back of his head. "It's all natural."

[Anastasia]

"..." Under other circumstances, the glare Rachel gave you would be considered grounds for justifiable self defense. As is, she merely picks up the the next item, a small animal figurine.  "This is a bound wolf statue, it can transform into a Golden Wulf to serve it's holder."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat's incredible ears hear the 'u' as opposed to 'o', but still he is curious; "What's the difference between it and a normal wolf, pray tell?"

[Anastasia]

"A Golden Wulf is a summoned and bound creature from another world," she says, shrugging. "That's what Diane said when I asked."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat internally wonders how useful the wolf could be as a distraction. "Righto. Next?"

[Anastasia]

Picking up the last item from the grouping she was drawing from, she holds aloft a fedora. "Um, this is a Hat of Shadows, capable of allowing the wearer to blend into shadows or something."

[Carthrat]

"Ah! I knew a guy who had one of these!" says Carthrat, taking it. "He was always snooping around and picking peoples pockets."

Carthrat puts on the hat, and tugs it forward over his bangs. "How'm I lookin'?"

[Anastasia]

With a straight face, she says, "Queer."

[Carthrat]

"Oh, thanks."

Carthrat hands back the hat. "I don't really need it, but you might."

[Anastasia]

"Well, I already selected some items for myself," she declares with a shrug of her shoulders.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat nods. "As well you should. Is there anything else you need before we leave? I'd like to get over my visit to Japan as soon as possible."

[Anastasia]

"I could use a few practical changes of clothes, I suppose, but those can be purchased in Japan," she says. "Other than that, I'm about packed."
