The Slayers Quest

[Ebiris]

Gourry looks between the two melodramatic girls and holds back a sigh. This was obviously another of those times when everyone else was having a different conversation to the one he thought was happening...

"What are you talking about, Amelia, you've forced me to do it just as much as Lina has!"

Not that Gourry ever learns from the experience...

[Corwin]

"LIES!" Lina protests, her eyes darting wildly between Amelia, Zelgadis, Gourry and Kizel. Hearing Gourry's words, her gaze focuses on Amelia. "You pervert!" the red-head cries out angrily. "Fireball!"

[thepanda]

"W-what?!" Amerlia sputters, stunned by the acusation.

Sadly, too stunned to dodge the fireball.

[Merc]

Kizel winces from where he stands staring at the group, a bit shocked at witnessing Amelia covered in soot and having frazzled, slightly burned hair. Her body remains prone in the ground, though her fingers seem to be twitching, her mouth gaping wide open, and her eyes ressembling swirling spirals.

'Maybe now's still not the best time to bring up an offer about the map...' he thinks, deciding to continue to wait for Lina to be in a more agreeable mood from continuing to pillage loot.

[Corwin]

"Justice prevails!" Lina announces, posing the mountain of treasure. Then, Amelia's and Sylphiel's perversions forgotten, she points at the most valuable items around, and sweetly asks Gourry to carry them for her, as smoke still trails from her index finger.

[Ebiris]

"Okay," Gourry says agreeably, glad to be off the subject of his crossdressing and playing with toys, he does his best to gather the items Lina has picked out.

[Corwin]

Lina nods happily, and skips over to Zelgadis, clasping her hands in front of her. "You'll help a needy girl, won't you?" she asks in an even sweeter tone of voice than before.

Zelgadis gives Lina another withering stare. "No, Lina, I do believe you can carry your own treasure." Zelgadis then moves to check on Amelia, while keeping an eye on the treasure-hungry Lina.

"Owie," Amelia mumbles, still out of it.

[Ranma_007]

Zelgadis smiles at Lina. "You're right, Lina. I will help a needy girl." Zelgadis then casts Recovery on Amelia.

[Corwin]

"Burst Rond!" Lina cries out, sending an impressive display of fireballs at Zelgadis's back and, completely by accident, at Amelia who is near him.

With a nasty tick in her eyebrow, Lina clenches her fists tightly, glaring at the chimera.

A slightly charred Amelia blink-blinks and falls over.

Realizing Amelia would get hit too, Zelgadis steps in front of Amelia and crosses his arms, taking the Burst Rond.

"Geez, Lina, it's just a joke." Zelgadis says.

[Merc]

The spell hits the chimera, charring his cloak and back impressively as the miniature fireballs explode. The force of impact, besides the burning, also pushes Zelgadis downward, landing on top of Amelia, his hand on her right breast. While he did succeed in protecting the young princess from the attack at least, whether that shall save him from retribution remains to be seen.

Zelgadis retracts his hand as though it was burned, then stands up quickly and acts as if nothing had happened, though it was pretty interesting to see a chimera blush.
