The Slayers Quest

"Um, aren't we missing someone?" Amelia asks languidly, looking around and visibly counting heads.

[Merc]

"My safe?!?" Ralcyon screeches. "Won't do?!?"

What was with this woman? For all her complaints about him robbing her, she wants to do the same and worse to him!

"Lina, I'll take care of the safe. It's been a while, but it shouldn't be a problem." Zelgadis says, with a smirk on his face.

"Have fun!" Amelia waves lazily, sliding down her chair.

Zelgadis walks to the main hall, up the stairs, and over to the wall safe that he and Lina found earlier. Inspecting it first, Zelgadis takes out a stethoscope, and puts it right on the lock, listening intently for the tumblers to change sound.

[Corwin]

"Well, you see..." Lina says at length. "You have four choices. Be punished by me, be punished by Gourry, be punished by Zel, or be punished by Amelia." She shudders briefly at the last one.

"Actually, you have five options. Me, Gourry, Zel, Amelia or Mr. Ashford," Lina muses out loud. "Or is it six? That Kizel guy might want to punish you too, after spending all that time with Amelia."

[Merc]

The safe is a bit tricky, so Zelgadis finds himself entertained by a challenge as Lina gives Ralcyon a choice.

"Uh..." Ralcyon ponders before asking, "Who's who again?"

[Ebiris]

"I'm Gourry," the swordsman points to himself, helpfully.

[Corwin]

"I'm Lina!" the red-head introduces herself. "Lina Inverse!" Waving a hand at the other girl, she adds, "That's Amelia, Champion of Justice."

[Merc]

Amelia nods, but adds, "You have to say it with more feeling though, Miss Lina!"

With that she raises a leg onto the table. Pointing her finger to the sky, she says, "I am Amelia Wil Tesla Saillune, crown princess of Saillune and defender of Justice!"

Ralcyon nods nervously and makes a note not to ask punishment from that girl as he asks, "So is the guy upstairs this Kizel or Zel? And where would the other one be?"

So far, he figures his best options are this Gourry guy or the guy he's not seen yet.

"Zel went upstairs," Gourry supplies before looking thoughtful, "I don't know what happened to Kizel, though..."

[Merc]

"Oh..." Ralcyon says with a nervous laughter as he tries to figure out who to pick from the two. Deciding that the last guy might be really scary, he says, "Uh, can the blond guy be the guy who comes up with the punishment?"

[Corwin]

"Be my guest, Gourry!" Lina says, clapping the blonde swordsman on his shoulder before going to check on Zelgadis.

[Ebiris]

Gourry points at himself, "Me?" he asks, sounding surprised. "Well, I'm not really sure... we got the Dragon Cuisine in the end, so it turned out okay... but you shouldn't have stolen it after we worked so hard to get it in the first place..."

Stroking his chin and looking thoughtful for several minutes, Gourry suddenly lights up and smacks a fist into his open palm. "I've got it!" he declares cheerfully, "Why don't you help Mr Ashford kill another Dragon? If you can do that, it'll prove you really do deserve to eat Dragon Cuisine!"

[Merc]

Ralcyon pales at that. "Uh...can I hire some mercenaries to help?" he asks hopefully.
