Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Anastasia]

"You'll live," she says, getting up herself and walking outside.

As the girl and Ukyo file out, Rachel grabs your arm. "Carthrat, she's strong. Really strong..." she says. "Be careful."

[Carthrat]

"Of course *he* is," replies Carthrat. "*He* is Ranma Saotome, if I'm not much mistaken. Ukyo, did I leave my 'ol club lying in here last year?" he continues, looking expectantly.

[Anastasia]

Ukyo is already outside and doesn not hear or respond to your question.

"Her fiancee?" Rachel asks. "Well, just don't get yourself killed...don't we have enough problems as is?"

[Carthrat]

"Actually, Rachel, it's part of my cunning strategem," Carthrat replies, moving behind the counter and rummaging around for either a spare spatula or his favourite old club. "You see, should I ever need support, they'll help me. Despite what she might say about me sometimes, Ukyo's a good friend."

[Anastasia]

Rachel nods. "And you need help fairly often, don't you? First that demon curse, then Alaska, now this and the Yakuza..." she says, shaking her head.

You find a spare small throwing spatula behind the counter.

[Carthrat]

Carthrat gives up. "Only when magic is involved, Ra-chan!" he replies, pulling out his sword and hanging it at his belt, then heading outside.

[Anastasia]

Outside, the redhead and Ukyo are waiting. "Your car?" Ukyo asks, pointing at your vehicle. "Better than walking or jumping, anyway," she finishes.

[Carthrat]

"Eh? Oh, sure," replies Carthrat, getting in. "Yeah, where're we going?"

[Anastasia]

"A nice abandoned field outside of town," Ukyo says. "I'll give you directions, it's where we have some of our more active challenges," she says.

[Carthrat]

"Oh, sure," replies Carthrat, starting the engine. "Lead the way.."

[Anastasia]

OOC - Time skip time!

The road you follow soon goes outside the bustle of Tokyo, to a relatively quiet and open field. It is overgrown weeds and grass, looking like a field that somehow escaped the concrete sprall.

Stepping outside, the red head leaps nimbly into the field. "Ready when you are," she says, slipping into a fighting position, both fists out. She grins, clearly enjoying herself already.

[Carthrat]

Jumping out the car and holding his sword by his side, Carthrat grins impishly. "But, m'lady, you are the challenger. It is only proper for you to begin the fight," he says, twirling his sword a little so only the blunt end is striking.

[Anastasia]

"If you wish," she says, grinning. "After all, I can't lose." A wide, cocky grin comes with this, and she cups his hands together.

"Mouko Takabisha!" she shouts. A large, yellow ball of energy erupts from her and races towards you at a disarming speed...

[Carthrat]

But, luckily, not *quite* as fast as a bullet, something Carthrat is used to doding.

Kinda.

A roll takes him out the way as he prepares to meet her onslaught, figuring that she would've immediatly rushed after him using the ball as cover..

[Anastasia]

Sure enough, she is rushing at you as you dodge the attack. Her first punch is deflected, as you are ready. Her next punch, however, comes at a blistering speed that you just can't match in melee. As what feels like dozens on dozens of blows rain into your side, you hear something about chestnuts...

Falling back, your left side burns in pain.  It feels like someone took a large, heavy stick and pounded you in the ribs several times. She is already back into a defensive position, waiting for you to attack again. Her grin is huge, and you can almost feel the joy she gets from fighting.
