"Ma'am!" a sensor technician reports to Jam, his voice alert. "The Lunar fleet is firing!" A few moments later, he concludes, "A large complex on the surface has been destroyed, and there's now some kind of containment field of pure energy around it. Our sensors cannot analyze or penetrate it."

[Merc]

Endymion shows up at the bridge of the Divine Wind, and asks for an update on the current situation.

[Corwin]

Beryl notices Endymion's arrival just as Major Iridium finishes reporting to the princes on Zoisite's and Alita's whereabouts, or lack thereof.

[Carthrat]

"Can you get comms with the Lunar fleet?" barks Jam.

[Corwin]

"You have a channel to the Silver Queen, Lt. Commander," the woman at the communications station told Jam, swerving in her chair. "Princess von Magellan says it's good to speak with you again."

[kpjam]

Minako looks at the communications screen, a slight frown on her face, as she contemplates something.

"Jam!  It's so good to speak with you again."

[Carthrat]

Jam blinks.

"Er, a pleasure, princess," she replies. "You wouldn't know what building was just blown off the Lunar surface, would you?"

[kpjam]

Minako smiles brightly.  "The library.  The Queen is unhappy about loosing some of her books, but she was convinced the sacrifice was necessary."

[Carthrat]

Jam blinks., eyeing the rest of her crew.

That certainly didn't sound like something to be smiling about..

"Quite, but.. an invasion, I hear? Who could possibly invade you from within?"

Well, except for Alita.

Beryl blinks in surprise for a moment.

"Prince? Are you feeling alright?"

[kpjam]

"Within?"  Minako blinks in apparenet confusion.  "Those perverts wouldn't be from the Kingdom.  I don't think anyone knows where they're from.    

Minako's seems to contemplate something for a moment, and then shakes her head.  "I have no idea where they came from."

[Carthrat]

"I'm amazed that a potential enemy managed to get that far inside the city before striking," replies Jam, dryly. "What land were they trying to take, anyway? An invasion implies they're out to conquer something.."

[kpjam]

"Hmmm... that far?   I don't think distance is really all that important in comparison to how?  I know the Queen is having someone look into how they managed entry into to library without detection, or even why the library."  Minako purses her lips, " I can't imagine they made it past customs, the women there are all stacked."  She places a hand to her chin in a display of deep introspection.

[Carthrat]

"Yes," replies Jam, "Knowing how is one step. But why? What was their goal, princess? Were they after a book? Hostages?"

[kpjam]

"We never stopped to ask them.   Capturing one would have been good.  Princess Rei-chan had one in her sights for a while, but couldn't hold him long enough to ask questions.  I imagine they were after hostages, or at least samples."  Mianko shudders as she is reminded of the cast the pervert attempted to make of her.
