Carth's magical adventure, ROUND TWO, MOTHERFUCKERS!

[Carthrat]

"*He* is coming with *us*," replies Carthrat, nodding.

[Anastasia]

"I see," she says again. "Carthrat...he's your friend, right?" she starts, a bit hesitant.

[Carthrat]

"Sure," replies Carthrat. "He's a friend."

[Anastasia]

"Why does he wear that glove?" she asks suddenly. "Do you know?"

[Carthrat]

"Tir has a history with that glove," replies Carthrat. "I'm not the only one whose had a colourful career. He has his own reasons.

What they are, I don't know."

[Anastasia]

Rachel thinks a few moments, frowning. "I don't really understand what or why, but that hand sends shivers down my spine," she finally says. "There's...something about it. I don't know what, but it chills me."

[Carthrat]

"It's a sensitive subject with Tir," replies Carthrat, sighing. "I don't know exactly what he does, but he's still alive today, and he's been in more than a few scraped, I hear."

[Anastasia]

"Indeed.

But...Could you try to find out what, Carthrat? I'd like to know, even if it turns out to be harmless," Rachel asks of you. "And if it's something that...."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat shrugs. "I could find out, easily," he notes, producing his scanner.

"But Rachel.. I'd feel bad about it if I did, no matter what it turned out to be," he says.

[Anastasia]

She ponders this, staring eye to eye with you. Her eyes are surprisingly firm now. "I...I want to insist," she says. "I won't force you, but I hope you do."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat shrugs. "If you must know.."

[Anastasia]

"I think I must," she affirms, sighing again. "I'm sorry to have to ask this of you, Carthrat."

[Carthrat]

"Well, if I don't find out for you, you might try yourself," replies Carthrat, brazenly.

[Anastasia]

"I could try, but I don't think my magic is powerful enough," she admits freely. "I'm still not that skilled, Carthrat...not nearly as powerful as Diane is."

[Carthrat]

Carthrat waves her off. "Raw power isn't an issue, Rachel," he replies. "Tact and cleverness are."
