For those of you that celebrate it, "Happy Chinese/Lunar New Year"!

Yes, today marks the first new moon of the new year, and in marches the next sacred animal of the asian zodiac!

Let's hear it for the green monkey of 2004! Woo!

Let's hope this year will be as lucky for us all as the previous year was! ^_^

P.S.: Before anyone gets any ideas, no, I wasn't born a monkey. I was born a rat. =P

So no one get any funny ideas otherwise! ^^;;

Kwokinator

If this year's as "lucky" as my last, I might as well jump out my third-story window right now and land head-first ^_^

Not that there aren't people who wouldn't want me to do that... *levels an area-wide glare the population in general*

And what's with the green monkey stuff? ^_^

You're born a rat?  So you're 20 or something? ^_^

Or are you 8? =D

Shukuen

Were you born an Ox by any chance? That might explain your general unluckiness. ^^;;

Well, I assume you know the five elements theory the Chinese subscribe to.

Basically, this year is the "Wood" Monkey, or Green Monkey.

And I'll be 20 in September.

Kwok, you'll *never* reach the same levels of bad luck as Serafita. Unless you're spontaneously chased by cars and what have have you these days.

Oh, and Happy New Years for any who celebrate it today. ^^

*feeds the monkey a banana*

Kwokinator

Compared to him, most everybody's lucky ^_^

I don't get hit by cars when I'm walking on the sidewalk or get hit by parked cars, for one ^_^;;

Olvelsper

That reminds me of something.

How *does* someone get hit by a parked car, anyhow? o_O

StormDragon

I have no idea. Unless the parked car is on a conveyor belt and you're at the other end.

....

....

"eep!" *runs from the thrown tomatoes*

I was born a rabbit.
