Bean Bandit

Miyuki watched Olguin hurry back into the room. She saw the red flush on his face, and sighed.

She stared morosely at the floor. Last night was a fluke...an accident. But, it forced her to confront one very important fact.

She didn't want it to be an accident. Last night, she'd realized, that somewhere along the line, she'd given her heart to her best friend.

And there was no WAY she was going to tell him. Not while she wore the body of a six year old.

But if she waited...she might never get the chance...

Olguin hurriedly set up their meal. Anything to distract him from that killer smile that blonde girl had.

Baka! Baka!

Wincing at the internal voice, he finished setting up. Moving to sit next to Miyuki, he began working on his meal with a great fervor.

Food...Blessed Food would be a distraction.

For now.

Bean Bandit

Miyuki slumped a little in her chair, resisting the urge to touch her lips gently.

She wanted to repeat last night at while she was her proper age...But then...she wasn't sure when that would happen.

She had absolute faith in Olguin. He said he'd stick with her until they found a cure, and she believed it. But...how could she make sure she got the chance to tell Olguin how she realized she felt?

Miyuki sighed again, and began to eat.

Olguin finished up his meal, sitting back in his chair he patted his stomache in contentment.

"Well, the beast has been appeased." He joked as he began running figures through his head.

"Well...seems like we're in a bit of a pinch." He admitted with a sigh.

Bean Bandit

Miyuki blinked and looked up at him curiously. She was still picking morosely at her food.

"What do you mean?" she asked. Maybe the bellhop wasn't what he was thinking about. She hoped so...

"We...don't have enough cash to buy you two plane tickers." Olguin admitted with a wince. Lifting up his hand to rub at his temple, he muttered various quiet curses.

"I suppose I'll have to find a pitfight." He ruefully finished.

OOC: Worked on this with Olg.

Miyuki was at once relieved and dismayed.

Releived that she had misjudged the encounter with the bellhop...she hoped, and dismay at the new difficulties.

Suddenly, a thought occured to her.

"Um...Olchan." She interjected softly, digging in the pocket of the little silk jacket she wore, withdrawing the gold coin Olguin had given her. "I still have this..."

Olguin's eyes widened as he saw Miyuki pull out the gift he had given her, and breathed a sigh of regret.

"Are you absolutely sure you want to use it?"

Miyuki smiled...slightly uneasily. "Well...it doesn't make much sense to hold onto it when we need the money..." she pointed out.

Olguin reluctantly nodded in acceptance, "That, and it'd be for the best if we got out of Britain as quickly as possible, anyhow. We are being chased by that swordsman, and if we made it out he certainly could too."

Miyuki nodded back, and, looking down, grimaced slightly at her young body. "It's not like I need a Zanbatou right now, anyway..."

If it were even possible, Olguin could've sworn that he felt his weariness increase three fold at that comment. "Right, my ticket can still be used on the return flight to Japan, and we can now buy two more tickets."

Turning towards Leets, he apologetically added. "I know that I promised you that I'd help you, but given the current state of chaos we wouldn't be able to find much concerning your past. If you go along with us I can promise you a measure of protection from that swordsman that wanted you dead."

"Do I have any choice on the matter?" asked Leets bitterly. "The only home I know is gone and I can't even stay in my own country because some maniac wants to kill me." Sighing in resignation, he said, "Let me see. Obviously yes, I'm coming along."

Olguin felt a headache begin to beset him at the boy's words, but carefully bit back his own retort. Rubbing his temple some more, he briefly wondered if his remarkably shortened temper today had anything to do with yesterday's events.

"Alright, but I needed to ask you anyhow. I'm not going to ever force anyone along my path." He sighed, his expression briefly blanking in rememberance. Shaking his head, he ruefully continued.

"Both of you start getting ready, then."

Shukuen

Leets blinked. "With what? Packing?" he asked, gesturing to their untouched bags, though slightly dirty from the previous day's ordeals. "Shouldn't we just get our tickets now before they close the airports?" he suggested.

Bean Bandit

Miyuki wrinkled her nose at Leets.

"Actually, I think he meant getting ourselves ready," she said gently, but pointedly. "For example...a bath might be in order?"

"Oh." Leets said, blinking. He frown slightly as he realized something. "Yes, of course." He muttered between clenched teeth, biting back a sharp remark. Money kids think always think they know better, he reminded himself. Besides, he did owe them so far and it wouldn't do to alienate them now.

Olguin leaned back in his chair, but refused to comment on the expression of anger on Leets' face. He somehow got the feeling that he'd have to play mediator between these two, and that didn't exactly warm his heart.

He patiently waited as both Leets and Miyuki take their turns up to shower and put on a new sheet of clothing. By the time they were ready, he was playing with a deck of cards that he had found in one of the drawers near the exit.

"Hmm? Oh, good. Let's go." Placing the deck of cards aside, he secured his saya to his side and grabbed his pack before leading them outside.

Arriving at the airport, Olguin ushered the kids off the hotel bus, thanking the kind flirtatous blonde who drove them to the airport.  "Bye  sweety."

Well, Goodbye.

"Um...goodbye, miss. And thank you for the lift." Olguin hesistantly smiled. Turning away from the bus, he hurried the children into the airport. Hopefully they could get the heck out of here soon.

One hour later, a very annoyed Olguin walked up to the service counter. He couldn't fault the people for panicking and trying to get off the island as fast as possible, but it made the line an excercise in resisting the urge to shove people.
