Upon These Stones

[Brian]

"No," Kevin says after a moment.  "You answered my greatest question."

Lammermore nods in agreement.

[Rezantis]

"In that case, I'll be around if I'm needed, Lord Kevin."

Nathan bows again, and moves to leave.

[Brian]

Kevin nods at you, on your way out.  Lammermore does manage a bit of a bow, wounded though he is.

[Rezantis]

Rez trots off in search of Radagast, and once away from Kevin's door he grins at Alec.

"That went surprisingly well."

[Brian]

"Yeah," Alec says, nodding.  "But it's okay -- I think everyone knows that you'd be a better leader."

You're really near the lorekeeper's tower, so you reach it before you can reply to Alec.  The guards there say, "Radagast is out of the tower at the moment."

[Rezantis]

Nathan laughs, but cuts off as they reach the guards.

"Do you know where he can be found?"

[Brian]

"He's in a conference with Wardmaster Mattias and Gatemaster Eske," the guard explains.

[Rezantis]

"Oh, I see . . ." Rez considers for a moment, "Could I speak to Serill Dewer?"

[Brian]

"He's not in," the guard says apologetically.  "He said he had to tend to an injured friend, and ran off."

[Rezantis]

Rez blinks.

"I'm surprised that guy can even move.  Thank you for your time, then."

Rez promptly heads off towards Liandral's quarters, and continues the conversation that was interrupted by the guards!

"Nah, I'd make a fairly lousy leader on the whole. I'm too easily swayed from my decisions, which makes me a good advisor, but a lousy leader.  Lord Bloom doesn't have that.  Besides which, what sane person would want the responsibility anyway?" Rez grins, "At least this way I can do mostly whatever I want."

[Brian]

Alec eyes you appraisingly, and then nods.  "I guess that may be true," he says.

[Rezantis]

"Pretty much.  I do things, but I'm not really much of a leader - at least, I don't think so," Rez snickers, and continues walking, "But there are lots of people more qualified than me, and people who actually want the responsibility, so why worry?"

[Brian]

Alec nods.  After a while, you track down a servant who can lead you to Liandral's rooms.  When you get there, the door is closed.

[Rezantis]

Rez considers his options:

(A) Pick the lock
(B) Break it down
(C) Knock

And chooses (C) - Knock.

Rez knocks!

[Brian]

"Come in," a somewhat harried voice yells.
