Jade stops and smirks, an evil little idea running through her head.  She grabbed another small stone in her hand, pocketed it, then got her lunch from her backpack.  She tore off a piece of bread from her non-potoholic sandwich, put the lunch up, and put the rock and bread in the same hand.  

"Here, you damn animal, you want bread?"  She extended the bread to the bird, then let go of the rock that was in the same hand once it was over the chicken.

Jade kicked at the chickens, running to the nearest large, study tree as soon as her legs were free to run.  When she reached the tree, she began to climb it.  (OOC:  Assuming she does reach the tree)

The tree was quickly surrounded by chickens.  There must've been 30-40 of them.  Crazy.  They circled around the tree like a pack of wolves.

"Well this certainly is strange," she muttered perched on the branch. "Since when did food become dangerous?"  She really didn't want to spend all day up in a tree.  Lighting the chickens on fire may send them packing.  Or summon more.  As she thought about what to do, she looked around to see if anyone was seeing this.

Little kids, and nobody else.  Good, nobody will believe them if they told anyone.

And so she tried to light the chickens on fire.  With her mind.  Hopefully it wouldn't also catch the tree on fire.
