Shukuen

Leets nodded and hurried back to the hotel.

Dracos

Leets headed back, passing a number of young men dressed in red jackets with skull marks on them as he moved towards the hotel.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

Leets spared the gang a momentary glance and continued on his way.

Dracos

Continuing on, he arrived in front of his hotel.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Shukuen

Leets hurried to their room to pass the message.

"Guys, I got good news and I got bad news."

Olvelsper

Jan looked up from where he was about to join Clyde in berating the two rather manic men from speaking their murderous intent so loudly. "Welcome back. What happened?"

"Well, I met up with Sal and asked him about those passports."

"He says he's going to charge us $200 each, plus whatever extra fines he can think up, but he's willing to give us discounts if we owe him favors," he said the last part a bit hesitantly. "He didn't say what kind though."

"He also said he wants our answer by 10'o'clock tonight."

Olvelsper

"How did he word the part of the extra fines? Did he say 'depending on the situation' or did he come out and say that he'd fine us extra?"

"He said he'd charge more later depending on how things go."

Olvelsper

"Right. Well, let's go in with the image of being competent and on the up and up. We can't owe Sal favors, he's the type that'd get you into ten kinds of hell if you let yourself be run over."

"You're going to be the one to tell him that, right, Mister Negotiator?" Leets looked disturbed at the thought of sharing that particular opinion. "They seem like the kind to shoot the messanger."

Olvelsper

"I know how to handle him, don't worry. We'll just rest up until it's time and we'll go talk to him. At any rate, we have more than enough for two hundred a passport, but I'll haggle it down a bit for you all."

And so they hung around the hotel until it was nearly ten, the alarm Jan had set earlier going off telling them it was about time for them to head out and meet with Sal.

The town, as they could see from the window, had really livened up.  A few hookers could be seen hawking their wares right on the corner.

Dracos
Well, Goodbye.

Halbarad

"Seems it's time to go," Clyde said softly, seeming rather unsure about heading out into the urban wilderness. "I just hope we don't run into any trouble on the way."
I am a terrible person.
Excellent Youkai.

Dexie Oblivion

Darx gives that creepy grin again, testing his injured wing.

"Bah, let trouble come.  If trouble troubles us, then we'll trouble them."

Pause.

"Okay, that was lame."
