Part 3: The City of Crime

Leets blanched at the very suggestion. "Guess it's best I lost my memories then if I turned out to be working with those guys."

[RyderHakubi]

Ryda nodded from the other side of the table...

"Yeah, I'll say you're good for us... that's why I wanted you to go in there.  They wouldn't have noticed you, since you're not anyone's problem except ours..."

[Shukuen]

Leets glanced over to the girl again. "Not that I'm going to question your sanity any further, but - Are you SURE that she's Ryder?"

[Olvelsper]

"I's a hunch, really. Looks like she could be Ryder's sister. That, and she's wearing his clothes, and using his stuff with the same fervor Ryder clung to it."

[Shukuen]

"So he... she... uhm... Ryder comes from a world where people can change their gender?" Leets questioned doubtfully.

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx shakes his head, trying not to laugh as the group as they stare at Ryda.

[Dracos]

"Um, just a curse really." Ryder answered.  "Water based.  Don't really like to talk about it much."

[Shukuen]

"At least it's not very inconvenient then."

"And what of you, Mister Smith?" Leets turned his gaze towards their guide. "What's with your giant robot impression?"

[Olvelsper]

"Giant robot?" Jan blinked. "Huh. Never thought about it that way. Anyway, it's another version of me, let's put it. I got it when my world ended."

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx blinks.

"Giant...robot? He can become a golem of sorts?"

[Olvelsper]

"Something like that, yes. I am the golem, in many ways. And it is me."

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx hmmms....."Very, very interesting....tell me, how did your world end?"

[Olvelsper]

"One minute everything was fine. Then I got shot and died. Woke up again, and the world had been rotted away to nothing."

[Dexie Oblivion]

"Well, that was anticlimatic."

Darx cackles.

"It should have ended with a war, like mine."

[Olvelsper]

"It probably did. No one was left alive when I woke up...except a lion." He frowned.
