A Bird and A Goon in the desert

[Shukuen]

Leets glanced up as the inn door rang, noticing Ryder and Dex walk in. "Hey there, you two." He waved in greeting before going back to his breakfast of hotcakes.

[Dexie Oblivion]

"Her? Powerful? I doubt it....she seems too frail for that.."

"Hi, Leets" Darx nods in greeting to him.

[Shukuen]

Leets invited the two to join him. "What are you two talking about this time?"

[Dexie Oblivion]

'Meh, just some girl we ran into. She seems to be new to the desert, and ignored my advice to not go exploring too much."

[RyderHakubi]

"Looks have nothing to do with it... I mean, do I look like I can blow shit up good?" Ryder replies with a smirk forming at his last statement?

[Dexie Oblivion]

"Hmm, you have a point. You don't look like much of anything.  No one would guess you're so....destructive."

Darx calmly smirks back.

[RyderHakubi]

"And what... is that supposed to mean my fine feathered friend?"

Ryder calmly, with an edge on his voice, retorts, taking a seat next to Leets.

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx takes seat on the other side of Leets, grinning.

"Just a simple jest between friends, my gender-swapping ally."

[RyderHakubi]

"A jest it may be, but still, thine words ring hollow, as if thy wast not showing me the proper respect..."

Ryder continued the descent into old English with a smirk...

[Shukuen]

"I see you two are getting along as well as ever," Leets chuckled between bites.

"So what's the plan with your little Tower expedition?"

[Dexie Oblivion]

"We're exploring the tower, once everyone is done with the various tasks they have and we can regroup."

"At least, I assumed that was our plan."

[Shukuen]

"So I take it you know where Smith is then? Or how you're getting into Vault City to talk to Hornsby?"

[Dexie Oblivion]

Darx ruffles his wings, thinking.

"Well....I suppose I could just fly over the walls of Vault City..."

He sighs.

"I have no idea. I was planning on leaving all that up to you guys."

[RyderHakubi]

"I still don't like the idea of going to a Tower which could potentially tear my soul out and rip it into little shreds as my body degrades into sand..." Ryder mentions.

[Shukuen]

"I agree with you, but Smith did say it was one of the few unexplored parts left in this world," Leets said. "Besides, someone has to have survived to tell the horrors of the towers."
