Ogre Adventure Loot Thread!

Despite the big words of the ogre-mage- and even the Janni- the whole fortress seems woefully inadequete. There's not many supplies of food or water- how did the ogres feed themselves?

The chest in that room was completely empty, and after about an hour of trying to break it and pick it, the door was determined to actually be a clever illusion, painted directly onto a stone wall. There weren't any other traps in the rest of the fortress, though- most of it was squalid living quarters for ogres, admittedly large ones. There's probably no chance of carting away most of the ogre's equipment, either- only Thrall could really hope to carry it, and even then it would be hard work, especially in the desert.

Scouring the entire place doesn't net you that much, either- the ogre mage seemed to be on his last legs, perhaps. You find strange glyphs drawn into random walls, the hallmarks of the 'seals' the Djinn spoke about, perhaps.

You also find the quarters of the ogre mage- at least, you presume. Finer than the rest, with silks and blankets, there are some interesting objects, here- gems and coins, piled up in sacks and strongboxes, roughly totatling 500 gold pieces, in all.

There's some scattered journals, written in Ogrish, that nobody can easily read. As well as that, there's another lockbox, made of black metal that appears locked, resisting early attempts at opening it.

Most of what you find is dismal- unless the ogres had some outside source of food and water, they would surely have perished without your help...
